The 2005 GMC Envoy is a full-size SUV with a luxury style. Very smooth ride over bumps. I love how my Envoy handles in the snow when I shift it into AWD. My Envoy is equipped with 2,4 and AWD which is amazing to travel in rough or snowy conditions. With the third-row seating, there is plenty of room for everyone. With the second and third row seats laid down, you can haul a ton of stuff in the back. The Envoy is equipped with OnStar, which is a great feature for just about every need while on the road. My Envoy is equipped with cloth seats that are very comfortable. This SUV sits high and is equipped with running boards on the outside help to give that extra boost up as well as comfortable step down from the vehicle. Passengers have their own heat and air controls in the back sea... (more)
Story
Christmas shopping was fun in the vehicle. Going from store to store to store and never running out of room to put things in the Envoy.
Pros
Sits high, lots of leg room, four-wheel drive, comfortable seats, and smooth ride.
Cons
Gear shift is in the way of one drink holder, glove box rattles, large blind spots, difficult to judge distance when backing up, and goes through brakes rather quickly 1-2yrs max. Only the driver side door has a key hole.

This vehicle caught my attention. GMC Envoy. The make of it looked very rich for the price. The interior as well. I selected it from an auction I wasn't sure how it would be. That's the risk of auctions. The seller was a dealer, we didn't find that out until after.
Story
We used this car to travel to many Natural parks mainly in Pennsylvania. It's great for camping! If you don't want to tent, you can put the back of the seat down and relax. We use it for hunting too.
Pros
Heated seats! I enjoy the room in the vehicle. The fact that everything is electric. We have OnStar also. The color was one of my favorites. We had the Harley Davidson paint job. I don't know if this was after market or how GMC painted it. The car ran smoothly for the most part. It has lights for each door in the interior. Also has a sunroof. It's great for camping and long trips. It's got 4 wheel drive so you can take it out in the woods and not worry about it getting stuck. Also a tow hitch so u can haul other things. Also on top includes a rack to place items. Comes with a net for the t... (more)
Cons
We always have something breaking down on the envoy. The parts are expensive to replace. I know it's an older car. But I wasn't expecting all those problems. We found out the seller had his own lot of cars, but sold this one at the auction. I'm guessing he knew it was a dud that's why he didn't sell it at his lot and took it to the auction to sell there. The gas mileage isn't that great.
