The car is stylish on the inside and out. It has sleek lines outside and is a beauty to look at. Rear windows come factory tinted to make it look even sleeker. Wheels look high end. Top of the line gets you inside heated seats, front and back. It also gets you power passenger seat and beautiful leather. This car is all about convenience for the driver and passengers. There are USB outlets in the backseats and Bose speakers all around. There is easy access to the trunk with back seats that can each fold down all the way, and that can also recline a bit. For the driver, there is a dimmed rearview mirror, a hold button, and a heated steering wheel. There is also a very intuitive adaptive cruise control system. There is some sound proofing, so road noise doesn't make it into the cab of the... (more)
    Story
Even though the car isn't for off-roading, I have used it to climb over brush and before, in a storm. It performed very well in slick conditions.
    Pros
My favorite features are the heated steering wheel. Trust me, you think you've been doing fine without it all along, but when it's a 40 degree morning and gloves will restrict your driving, you will love this option. Another favorite feature is the adaptive cruise control and the Hold function, all of which come in handy when you're just too tired.
    Cons
The trunk isn't that big, for a CUV, but it'll do for me. Don't think about trying to get a double stroller in there.

2018 Mazda CX-5 - This is a high-quality vehicle with great steering and gas mileage.

The CX-5 is a high-quality vehicle with performance and appearance that are better than its price would have you believe. The gas mileage is superb and the comfort of driver and passengers are taken into account in design. Vehicle is very roomy and gives a lot of trunk space, great car for travel.
    Story
Driving through the West Virginia mountains with the sun roof open in the snow.
    Pros
Great mileage, excellent and sexy design. Quality features come standard. Sexy color selections and great sleek, aerodynamic design. Turbo feature is both a lot of fun, but also handy to start up after a stop, to get ahead of the pack.
    Cons
Counterintuitive media controls and gas cap release switch. Ice forming on car will negate cruise control as an option.
