Cheap and dependable, not fancy
Overall, the car is dependable and was cheap. I paid about $10,000 for it brand new, and then with the warranty and the tracking device on it, it was about $14,000. Price meant a lot to me since I am a graduate student. Overall, it has been fairly dependable. It is definitely not fancy and is a basic model. It literally has no power locks or power windows, which can be annoying at times. But the only things I really wanted in the vehicle was a good price and it being a stick shift. I wanted something that would last my awhile as I am not wanting to trade in the car anytime soon! I have had a few issues with it (I believe it was the airbags) that I had to get resolved within the first 20,000 miles. I also did have some issues with it stuttering (engine turning over) after the 35,000 mile checkup but I think that may have been due to cold weather as it really only happened once or twice right after the checkup. I know the 35,000-mile checkup is a big one where they are going through a lot of the car. I haven't had any other issues with it! I guess one other complaint I may have is that sometimes I feel like my clutch is sticking a little, like it is a little harder to shift, and I have to jam it in gear sometimes, but I may also be a little lazy and not pushing down on my clutch all the way! Overall, it really fits with my lifestyle and was what I wanted in a car. I do think I'll add the power locks though as I think that may be a safety concern as a woman. Like, if I'm walking late at night and get scared, I wanted to make sure I can get into my car as quickly as possible, and I cannot do that right now with the way my car is. So, power locks are definitely a necessary thing.

Great, economical vehicle
The vehicle is an excellent quality vehicle that isn't very old. I got mine with 62,000 miles on it, and it still drives smoothly. I appreciate the way the steering wheel handles, and it has great gas mileage. It was also a nice transition from my 2011 Kia Soul, allowing me to bring my USB drive over so I can listen to my own music that I have downloaded. As someone who likes to travel, especially travelling out of state in my car, having the right soundtrack can make all the difference. Relying on the radio can be a hassle, though if I got Sirius satellite radio, I could always use them instead.
