I love this car. Who wouldn't love getting 50 mpg? It makes your wallet feels better and is easier on the environment. Plus, the hatchback space is hard to beat compared to other hybrid models, and it has the hatchback space without looking like a traditional hatchback.
Story
It is a 6.5-hour drive to visit my family. I would hate to leave my dog at home so I sometimes bring him along. The versatility of a hatchback allows me to put down the back seats and make him a nest out of his dog bed and blankets. He is happy as a clam the entire ride.
Pros
The top positive things include: the hatchback space, the mpg, and the ease of operating the vehicle. I love the adaptive cruise control, which slows down as needed based on the vehicle in front of you. The blind spot detector is very nice when driving on busy highways.
Cons
My main complaint has to do with the entertainment system. Instead of Apple Carplay, which seems to be standard in almost all new vehicles, the Prius uses Toyota's Entune system. It is inferior to Apple Carplay and forces you to download a random navigation app (not Apple Maps or Google Maps). It is less user-friendly and is extremely aggravating. If there was another hybrid that was comparable in space (i.e. hatchback), mpg, and reliability that had Apple Carplay, I would have jumped ship to that vehicle.

2019 Toyota Prius - A great car for a great price.

I love the sleekness of it and the style. Its cozy and comfortable and quite roomy! Its quiet and drives smoothly yet has a smaller engine and gets fantastic gas mileage. Its stylish, yet the price is incredible compared to other similar cars.
Story
Went to Lowe's and put some 2x4s uncut into the vehicle. Never thought-they'd fit but they did!
Pros
The gas mileage of course. I am averaging 58mpg on a all wheel drive vehicle overall...this is total miles driven, highway, city etc. the controls are easy to read and figure out and the room is fantastic. can sit 5 adults plus put groceries in the back.
Cons
They did away with the approach key which I think is a big con. You actually have to touch the vehicle to open it now. There is no NWES indicator. Every vehicle should have one of those!
