I own a 2007 Volvo xc90 and it is absolutely fantastic. I've loved this car from the very beginning. It's large, and handles a bit like a tank, but it's a very smooth drive with excellent steering. It's very safe and feels safe when you are driving it. It has heated adjustable seats and built in Bluetooth. It seats 8 if you open up the trunk, other wise it seats 5 comfortably with a lot of room in the back and a safety rack in between to keep passengers safe. It has tinted back windows, and the cage separator combined with the dimness can make it difficult to see out every window. It also has a gigantic blind spot because it is such a big car. It does decent on gas, as decent as you would expect from a bigger car.
Story
Last year, my family drove to the bronx zoo in this car and sang songs all the way there. It was cute and fun.
Pros
This vehicle is very safe and feels very safe while driving. It is roomy and open. It has TV's in the headrests ( with headphones) so the kid's can always watch movies while on a road trip. You can even hook an Xbox up to it so they can play games. It has Bluetooth, so you're even safer on the road. It has heated adjustable seats and separate temperature control for the front and back passengers.
Cons
This vehicle is so large it has a gigantic blind spot, and the tinted windows make it dark and hard to see, even in bright daylight. It doesn't do that well on gas, but that's to be expected. Also, because it is Volvo, service and parts are extremely expensive.

This was my first Volvo and it was a 3.2 FWD XC90 with premium package. I was fairly impressed with quality and features of car. I liked the safety and quality as I was starting a family. The vehicle drove well, got decent mileage and did everything I needed an SUV to do.
Story
I used the vehicle moving my family to larger home and pulling trailer. It actually did quite well driving up and down steep hills in back yard to get to back of home.
Pros
Premium features - leather, sun roof, DVD screens, auto climate, Visual look of the vehicle was very nice and different from others. Safety and quality, Good size, not to big and not too small, Very quiet on the road, Was quite capable on and off road in various driving conditions.
Cons
Service - tough to find parts for diy maintenance or affordable non-dealer service locations. Visual look is nice, but dated with very minor updates, fuel economy could be better and no Bluetooth feature.
