This truck has done all I've asked of it, from hauling a heaping bed full of junk to the landfill, to hauling a family of 4 on a week long camping trip. There's plenty of room for all of us. It's a short bed, but I've still been able to bring anything from doors to landscape rock home from the lumber yard with ease. My truck has the HD package, with a heavier radiator, stronger suspension, and a transmission cooler. It pulled a small camper with ease through the Smokey Mountains. That’s hard to argue with.
Story
We took the truck, with 4 of us in it, camping in the Smokies. The bed was full of stuff, and we were pulling a small pop-up camper. It was a fantastic time.
Pros
My truck has a variety of great features. The HD/towing package is phenomenal. Along with being 4WD, winters in Indiana aren’t a problem. My truck also has a power adjustable seat, which is pretty handy. The center seat in the front folds down to a nice console, with plenty of room for storage.
Cons
The biggest issue with my truck would be the short bed. This is something you’re just stuck with in a Quad cab, but a full length bed would have advantages. There are some convenience features missing also, such as fog lamps. The glove compartment is barely big enough for the owners manual, so it’s a good thing there is a center console.
