Used 2010 Dodge Nitro for Sale

Overall, both my husband and I were very happy with the Dodge Nitro. We were in search of a smaller SUV that had 4 wheel drive and the ability to go well through the snow. This vehicle did just that. When put in 4 wheel drive, it was able to drive in snow without any problems. It was a bit high to climb in and out of considering that I am rather petite. However, once in the vehicle, it was easy for me to drive.

We bought this vehicle because we needed something that was heavier and sturdier in the snow and ice. We have snow 4 months out of the year and I was tired of getting stuck with our van. We had sold our larger SUV because it was to big and having problems. I did not want something too big, but a little on the smaller side. The Nitro was the right size for our shrinking family. We did lots of research on this vehicle and liked that fact that the safety rating was high. I also liked the way it drove when we test drove it. It came with Sirius and at the time it was plus. We have driven it over 5 years and have never had any issues with it. The gas mileage is average for its size, but I like the way it handles. It is not as comfortable on long trips as other cars we have had, but it performs well and does what we expected it to. We usually just drive it in the city, but did take it on a long trip 2 years ago. While I was comfortable as the driver, the passengers were a little cramped in the back seat. There is average room for storage in the back but it fits my sons football stuff just fine. We also can fit many seats in the back when we go to sporting events. I would recommend this vehicle for the average 3-4 person family, but as your family grows in height, you might want something a little larger for leg room. For a short driver like myself, it's perfect!
