Used Toyota FJ Cruiser for Sale

When I bought the FJ; I was looking for a secondary vehicle to my Toyota Camry and a vehicle that could handle Minnesota winters on my lengthy (80 miles of rural driving) daily commute. In Minnesota, winter can start in October and last all the way into April. Temperatures can drop to 20 below and it is not uncommon to get 6 to 12 inches of snow from a storm. The FJ has gone through it all. It has started right up after sitting outside all night in minus 20 degree weather. Driven through blizzards where visibility was less than 1/8 of a mile. Busted right through three foot high snowdrifts and easily drives through 12 to18 inch deep snow. The heater and defrosts are excellent, a must for winter driving, with the interior being comfortable within five to ten minutes. I have upgraded the FJ with the off-road suspension package and off-road tires. Would definitely buy another one if Toyota decides to re-start production.

The FJ Cruiser is a highly capable off-road vehicle. I've never been able to get it stuck despite being in deep sand, snow and mud. It's more roomy and comfortable than a Wrangler in my opinion and just as able to conquer any terrain. The interior is not luxurious but is comfortable, especially for a vehicle of this type. Fuel economy is low, and the gas tank is relatively small giving it a range of only around 250 miles in practice, less when off road.

The Toyota FJ Cruiser is an extremely reliable vehicle. I have never had any trouble with the motor or any other portions of the car. Even though I have near totaled it twice, after some repairs it still runs flawlessly. I am a very big guy (6'5" 340 lbs.) and I have more than enough room for comfort. There is very little terrain that it can't cross. The 4-wheel drive capabilities allow me to drive in icy and snowy conditions easily. The steering is fine and the gas mileage is decent (~20 miles/gallon). I love the design of the vehicle, unless I see one without the racks on top. The windshield is a little bit short as compared to most vehicles but I easily got used to it and have no problems viewing forward. The breaking and acceleration are perfect, not to much acceleration when you tap the gas pedal and not too much stopping when you tap the breaks. The back seat is pretty cramped, but I hardly have anyone riding with me in the back so it's not a problem. I feel incredibly safe when driving this vehicle and when I run this one until it won't run any more I'll be purchasing another FJ Cruiser.
