An oldie but a goodie.
I bought this vehicle from a friend who had it refurbished at no cost. It was a little hard to handle at first (my inner thigh was being pulled as I drove it for some reason), but once I got used to it, it was very enjoyable. It does have very low gas mileage though (I believe 10 mpg). It also doesn't have much in terms of modern amenities, but it is one of the most enjoyable rides I've ever had due to well it drives and how responsive it is. There is a lot of room, since it has seats for six inside, and the back seats easily fold up. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys SUVs.

One of the most reliable cars ever made
Overall, the Land Cruiser has been a great car to own. Being over 20 years old, you would think I would have run into a multitude of issues by now, but in actuality, there haven't been many at all outside of normal maintenance and wear and tear. And when an issue does arise, Toyota itself has been generally fair and helpful with me.

Solid SUV
Our Land Cruiser is the safest most comfortable vehicle that we have ever owned. Cruising down the highway you could hand write a book with paper and pen. While the gas mileage is something to be desired and tires are expensive, it's still a solid car.

  • Driven: 2020 Toyota Land Cruiser

The Toyota Land Cruiser is as solid, capable and reliable as it’s been for decades, but a rising tide of new and fresh competition puts the big SUV's aging tech and poor fuel economy in a harsher light, and a high price tag doesn’t help.
