Happy I bought it and will buy a Toyota again
Toyota is a great company making great and reliable cars. The car I bought had minor issues - like I had to replace a headlight light bulb and a brake-light light bulb, but no major ones, and overall was a very reliable and high-quality vehicle. The factory recommended maintenance is only every five thousand miles, which is not a pushover, and the cost of maintenance is moderate even at the dealership. You can get a minor service for below hundred dollars. Also, Toyota has the unified system for vehicle records - you can always see the whole history of the vehicle service as long as you perform it at one of the Toyota dealers. I have received good service at a dealership. And I even found one dealership ( Sierra Toyota ), which does not push unnecessary service on you, and just do everything by the book. The interior design is plastic and looks somewhat cheap, but Yaris is a low-budget car in the Toyota lineup, and reliability and mpg rating is more important to me anyway. In terms of reliability, this Yaris was a great car - over seven years of ownership and fifty thousand miles driven, I only had to take it in for repairs twice. Otherwise, the only care the car required was regular maintenance. Also, mpg rating is great - I'm averaging about 30mpg in the city while using air conditioning and maybe 25mpg without. Also, extended warranty was very affordable - below a thousand dollars.

Good car for starting out.
I really like the sport version of this car compared to the other. The only major issue I had is not being able to see the front of the car but you get used to it. Could be an issue for younger drivers because you really have to be aware of your surroundings. It did take some time to get used to having all the gauges in the center but I really like it. I got this car right out of college and it has been great. I've had minimal repairs and have great gas mileage. As a mom it still works with a convertible rear facing car seat. We even took it to Disney World but one more kiddo and I'll need more space.

Efficient and reliable
I enjoy my Toyota Yaris for a number of reasons. It is a perfect automobile for a city environment. It gets great gas mileage in the city and on the highway. I drive conservatively and have gotten about 45 mpg. The handling and turn radius is great, making parking a breeze. Although it is a subcompact car, the trunk is spacious enough to fit my needs. The seats are comfortable and the stereo that came with the car is incredible. The brakes are great as well. I have been driving it for 4 years and just got the brakes inspected and was pleased to hear that they were still at 90 percent of their life. I have never had a problem with this car, It is very reliable and I think that if I continue to maintain it properly, I can enjoy the car for another 10 years easily. I would recommend the car to friends and family alike.
