The Toyota Camry Hybrid has been an exceptional vehicle. It provides a smooth and comfortable ride and is exceptionally easy to drive and maneuver. I like the look both inside and out. The interior has shown little to no wear and has a unique trim package which isn't standard and I've not seen on a similar model. Since the vehicle was purchase from a used car dealership I don't know the details of the unusual trim package. The outside of the vehicle is in very good condition but has been kept garaged since it was purchased at two-years old. The interior of the car provides ample room for five adults to ride comfortably, but the trunk is small because of the large battery in the trunk space. This makes it more difficult to transport larger items, or when planning a trip the limited spac... (more)

There have been many fun girls shopping trips in this vehicle. It is so easy to drive I almost always volunteer to drive on an outing.
A Favor
The number one positive thing about the Camry hybrid is certainly fuel economy averaging 40 mpg. It far surpasses anything in it's class of a gasoline powered vehicle. Number two on the list would be comfort. The interior has ample space for a comfortable ride in both front and back seats. The heated front seats are also a nice option on chilly days. Another great thing about this vehicle is the ease of driving and maneuverability. It handles very well in most weather conditions making it a pleasure to drive. Because this car runs on both battery power and gasoline it is great driving thro... (more)
En Contra
It is very difficult to come up with anything negative to say about this great car. But there are a few things I would probably change in the design given the chance even though they are pretty minor. One of the most noticeable things is the lack of rear seat cup holders unless the middle arm rest is pulled down. That is fine most of the time but makes it impossible to include a fifth passenger. The very worst thing though is the very limited trunk space. I understand the smaller space is due to the very large battery in the trunk area, but it still makes it difficult to haul larger items ... (more)

I originally bought this car after totaling my 2005 Toyota Prius. I absolutely loved that vehicle, mainly because the gas mileage was outstanding. I drive with a lead foot, so it was nice to have a car that could balance out how much I spend in gas, so I didn't have to compromise that part of my driving. I was skeptical about the gas mileage being as good in this vehicle, because it seemed to run more so on gas than it did with the battery, but I can say that my gas expenses are roughly the same in this vehicle. In good weather conditions, this vehicle handles very nicely, but when it rains or is very windy, things can get a little rough. Hydroplaning is something I have experienced more often in this car, even if it is just sprinkling, than I have in any of the other vehicles that I h... (more)

Though this vehicle is a hybrid, it can still kick it! On one of the big bridges coming into my city, I was racing a friend, and it got up to well over 110 MPH. Faster than I ever thought I would see a stock street hybrid go!
A Favor
This vehicle is very spacious. One of the main reasons why I chose the 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid is because I needed a safe car with enough room to fit my baby car seats for my two kids. This car does it with no problems, and there is still room for a third passenger in the back with loads of leg room. Also, the trunk has a lot of room for me to be able to lug things around with. This car has seen me through three moves, and I rarely needed another vehicle to supplement the transportation of my things. Something I liked from my previous Toyota Prius that was carried over into this vehicle w... (more)

So far, the A/C has gone out twice, and it really seems to eat through tires. Both of which have been pretty expensive fixes. On top of that, you have the things I previously mentioned, specifically the hydroplaning.

The Camry Hybrid 2015 is efficient and economic with great gas mileage and roomy interior -- including a spacious trunk surprisingly because of the hybrid batteries. However, the car is susceptible to rodent damage.
Historia
The rear camera for backing up is very helpful and fun to see what is behind the car but does not replace turning your head to check traffic.
A Favor
The rear camera for assistance in backing up the vehicle is very helpful. The sound system is excellent. The seating is comfortable with good leg room. The trunk is more spacious than earlier hybrid Camry models. The gas mileage is excellent.
En Contra
The vehicle is a prime target for rodent damage. The soy-based wiring and engine harness is attractive to squirrels, and the vents in front and the spacious engine area are attractive to nesting squirrels. This car required major repairs because of squirrel damage twice last year before we purchased a rodent-repelling high-frequency system for under the hood.
