2008 Toyota Camry Hybrid - Great car and awesome fuel economy.
The Toyota Camry Hybrid has been an exceptional vehicle. It provides a smooth and comfortable ride and is exceptionally easy to drive and maneuver. I like the look both inside and out. The interior has shown little to no wear and has a unique trim package which isn't standard and I've not seen on a similar model. Since the vehicle was purchase from a used car dealership I don't know the details of the unusual trim package. The outside of the vehicle is in very good condition but has been kept garaged since it was purchased at two-years old. The interior of the car provides ample room for five adults to ride comfortably, but the trunk is small because of the large battery in the trunk space. This makes it more difficult to transport larger items, or when planning a trip the limited space for luggage is a huge consideration. This is unfortunate since the fuel economy and comfort would make it a nice car for longer trips. The Camry hybrid has been an exceptionally reliable car and has required very few repairs or recalls besides typical maintenance such as oil changes.
There have been many fun girls shopping trips in this vehicle. It is so easy to drive I almost always volunteer to drive on an outing.

The number one positive thing about the Camry hybrid is certainly fuel economy averaging 40 mpg. It far surpasses anything in it's class of a gasoline powered vehicle. Number two on the list would be comfort. The interior has ample space for a comfortable ride in both front and back seats. The heated front seats are also a nice option on chilly days. Another great thing about this vehicle is the ease of driving and maneuverability. It handles very well in most weather conditions making it a pleasure to drive. Because this car runs on both battery power and gasoline it is great driving through the mountains or steep hills. And this also makes it a very easy to pass another vehicle with that extra punch of speed when needed. The compression braking is also quite helpful in mountainous areas. Another great convenience with this car is the controls for the radio or disc player on the steering wheel. It also allows the driver to answer a cell phone call from the steering wheel controls making it truly hands free calling.
It is very difficult to come up with anything negative to say about this great car. But there are a few things I would probably change in the design given the chance even though they are pretty minor. One of the most noticeable things is the lack of rear seat cup holders unless the middle arm rest is pulled down. That is fine most of the time but makes it impossible to include a fifth passenger. The very worst thing though is the very limited trunk space. I understand the smaller space is due to the very large battery in the trunk area, but it still makes it difficult to haul larger items ... (more)

The very worst thing though is the very limited trunk space. I understand the smaller space is due to the very large battery in the trunk area, but it still makes it difficult to haul larger items or many items at one time. This is most noticeable using the vehicle for an extended trip. One must be very cautious with the amount of luggage taken on a trip. Something that has just become an issue is the radio. It appears to be standard equipment and replacement would be quite expensive. One of the first things that began to be an issue with the radio is that the volume would go quite loud or soft without anyone touching the controls. Now the only way the volume will work is with the control on the steering wheel. Many times the digital display doesn't work, but this is quite random.
2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid - Totally Toyota.
I originally bought this car after totaling my 2005 Toyota Prius. I absolutely loved that vehicle, mainly because the gas mileage was outstanding. I drive with a lead foot, so it was nice to have a car that could balance out how much I spend in gas, so I didn't have to compromise that part of my driving. I was skeptical about the gas mileage being as good in this vehicle, because it seemed to run more so on gas than it did with the battery, but I can say that my gas expenses are roughly the same in this vehicle. In good weather conditions, this vehicle handles very nicely, but when it rains or is very windy, things can get a little rough. Hydroplaning is something I have experienced more often in this car, even if it is just sprinkling, than I have in any of the other vehicles that I h... (more)

Hydroplaning is something I have experienced more often in this car, even if it is just sprinkling, than I have in any of the other vehicles that I have owned. I was born and raised in Florida, so driving in the rain was something I never used to think twice about, but I have had to be very cautious about it in this vehicle. I have also found that the vehicle can be very susceptible to high winds. There are a lot of bridges where I am from, so getting whipped around when you're at the top of a bridge isn't the most fun thing.
Though this vehicle is a hybrid, it can still kick it! On one of the big bridges coming into my city, I was racing a friend, and it got up to well over 110 MPH. Faster than I ever thought I would see a stock street hybrid go!

This vehicle is very spacious. One of the main reasons why I chose the 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid is because I needed a safe car with enough room to fit my baby car seats for my two kids. This car does it with no problems, and there is still room for a third passenger in the back with loads of leg room. Also, the trunk has a lot of room for me to be able to lug things around with. This car has seen me through three moves, and I rarely needed another vehicle to supplement the transportation of my things. Something I liked from my previous Toyota Prius that was carried over into this vehicle was the GPS and Radio system that was integrated into the dashboard. It is very easy to use and aesthetically pleasing. It places everything you need: GPS, radio, maintenance schedule, and Bluetooth phone options all at the tips of your fingers. It makes it a lot easier to juggle all your other technology, so driving distracted is not an issue. The electric windows and seat adjustments are also a big plus.
So far, the A/C has gone out twice, and it really seems to eat through tires. Both of which have been pretty expensive fixes. On top of that, you have the things I previously mentioned, specifically the hydroplaning.

2014 Toyota Camry Hybrid - Camry Hybrid
The Camry Hybrid is the answer to high gas prices and reducing emissions. The MPG allows me to drive back and forth to work for 2 weeks where I'd have to fill up my vehicle before every 4 days. The cab is spacious. My family of 5 and our boxer can all fit comfortably in the car and go on trips without paying an arm and a leg in gas and get everything we need for our baby, the dog, and the rest of the family. There is no noticeable difference or power issues when the car is running off of the battery. Merging into traffic or accelerating is not different than an all gas car, except it uses less gas. It's an amazing vehicle that has limited maintenance, I don't have to fill fill up as much as an all gas car and I don't have to plug it in every night. The GPS is the most accurate GPS I'v... (more)

We drive from Miami to North Carolina often and it makes the trip more enjoyable and quicker when I don't have to stop every 300 miles to get gas.

I love the MPG. It saves on money and time. The cab and the trunk are spacious. The 2014 model is also very stylish for a midsize sedan, and the GPS is great.

I wish there was a feature to cool the seats, mine only heat. I have the JBL sound system and it could be better. I have to turn it up to hear it sometimes, this is partly due to road noise that can be loud.
