2000 Toyota Sienna - Best vehicle ever
I have a beige 2000 Toyota Sienna. I love my car very much. It is over 15 years old and has over 200,000 miles on it. It has been in my life since I was 8 and it has driven all throughout Florida multiple times. From Cooper City to Tallahassee or Orlando or Tampa or St Petersburg, it has always been great. It has also gone all the way to New York. It has had some problems in its later years but I feel like considering all that it's been through, it's really been a great car to have. Even though I did not purchase this car myself, if I had to go back in time and make the decision, I would choose for my family to purchase it again.

My favorite memories in this car were driving to Disney with my mom, dad, and two sisters when I was little. The car was nice and big so it always felt cozy and comfy!

I love the amount of space which means I can carry a lot of passengers or a lot of cargo. I have been able to move all of my things using this vehicle several times. In fact, because the seats fold down, it makes it really easy to fit things in (even a mattress!) I love the comfort of driving it because I am short and being higher up is always better. It also drives really smoothly. Additionally, it has a power door which is really convenient when you have your hands full and need to get the door open. I feel like all in all, the vehicle has paid for itself over the years.

Although there are very few things I dislike about the vehicle, I have had a few problems with it. Firstly, the air conditioning started to work not so well. The next thing to go was the power steering fluid pump. When that had to be replaced, the rack and pinion also had to be replaced because it was so "gunked up". I have since had another problem with the power steering fluid pump leaking. And lately, I have been having radiator problems. My car overheated and we realized the radiator was cracked and needed to be replaced. Considering how long it had been in there, I wasn't too surprise... (more)

Lastly, the biggest con about this car is the gas mileage is really not great so it can be quite pricey to drive far/often.
2000 Toyota Sienna - Sienna handles the long, hard road
My Toyota Sienna is a workhorse with over 200,000 miles on it. This minivan was obviously built to last for many years. As long as I keep up with regular maintenance, it continues to start each day and roll on down the highway. It has been in some accidents, and had some neglectful owners, but everything has proven to be fixable. I recently drove from Colorado to northern Washington and back, over mountains, deserts, freeways and gravel roads, and my Sienna did not fail. It's a vehicle I can rely on and feel safe in.

We parked and watched the clouds and lightning roll across the plains, wondering if we would see Dorothy and Toto ride by on a bicycle. After the storm passed, the road was muddy and slippery, and I worried about getting bogged down in the mess. My Sienna is not a 4-wheel drive, but I managed to make it up and down the muddy hills by putting it in low gear and going slow and steady. What a good old van!
The best things about the Sienna are:
It handles well, even after 200,000 miles
It has good acceleration
The driver's seat is comfortable, up high, not too big, and very adjustable
Mechanics like it -- repairs and maintenance are easy to get done
Pretty good gas mileage
Plenty of cupholders

The placement of the radio and radio controls are too low down on the control panel area. This makes it hard to see the station and the buttons while driving.

2006 Toyota Sienna - Space for the entire family.
This vehicle has honestly been the best cars we ever had. We had been in the look out for the perfect family vehicle after the birth of my twins. There are 3 rows of seats. Fitting a total of 7 people. The space between all the rows makes it perfect especially for long road trip and avoid the children annoying each other by kicking the back of the seats. We also have 2 teenage girls, and one of the best features is all the connections to charge your cell phone or electronic device. Another thing I love about this van is the fact that all the seats in the middle and back row fold completely. Making it perfect for moving, or when you need the space. It transforms to your needs. Gas mileage is great. I work about 30 minutes away from home, with the back and forth drive, I only fill up once a week. We've driven to Colorado, Milwaukee and Chicago and all the times our van came through and made the trip even more enjoyable for everyone, did I mention there is a sunroof? Also there are several places to keep your sunglasses. The middle desk between the driver and passenger seat folds, making easy for me to walk to the back if I need to and tend to the babies if they need something. The van also features multiple cup holders throughout the van in the middle of all rows and on the doors too. I almost forgot to mention the middle and back rows get their own AC/Heat control, they have access how they want it. and if my Family and I ever go on bike rides, luckily the van features built in bike racks. Making easier to hook on your bike.
The cons would be; Actually there isn't that many cons, I just wish the van had built in DVD player or at least a more up to date Radio face and features. its a bit out dated. Also heated seats would be nice when its crazy cold out here. Another thing I would say is if only I would have picked or added the feature of auto start! I always remember when we are in the middle of a terrible cold day. That is one feature I will make sure I have in my next vehicle.
Cruising with my teenagers, they love playing music, singing in the car and just being silly and having fun. We like going to the mall, which is about a 30 min drive from us and during our drive we will connect our phones to the speakers of the van through a cable and play YouTube. One of my teenagers usually plays DJ and we have her pick songs for us to drive, listen and sing to.

No auto started. Outdated radio/CD. Wish it had built in DVD players for the back seats. No heated seats. Cloth interior, hard to keep clean.
