Reliable 4x4
The Toyota 4runner SR5 4x4 is an amazing reliable vehicle. With proper maintenance, it has continued to be my go-to vehicle, even though it is nearing 200 thousand miles. It has a sleek design, and lends itself to be customized if you are interested in added custom wheels/tires/suspension for off-roading/mudding. The vehicle sits 5 comfortably. The cabin is perfect for tall individuals (I'm 6'4'') and seats my friends/family perfectly for our beach retreats. Due to the vehicle's design, I've had no issues with blind spots while driving in DC metro traffic. The only downside I have noticed is the gas mileage. Newer vehicles offer great gas mileage, while I get roughly 17 mpg. I've taken this vehicle off-road many times, and absolutely enjoy driving it. With the vehicle's independent suspension, one can really have fun while driving in the woods, snow, or on the beach.

FIT FOR THE DRIVER
I purchased the truck used with at least 100+ miles already. So I was nervous about the longevity of it. I like that the set up is accommodating for the driver, it FITS FOR THE DRIVER. It rides very well, smooth not rough. I found it handles a lot better than most SUVs on the road. It is a very comfortable ride for the driver though, especially the ac vent located right under the steering wheel. Definitely a bonus for driver. I do not like that there are no speakers in the back for passenger or vent for AC therefore I have to have the radio louder or have the AC blowing harder to circulate. I have had the truck for years and have not had any major issues outside of normal wear and tear. Therefore maintenance is low and performance is still maintained within my budget. Some larger vehicle require a lot of maintenance, high cost maintenance, so I found this to be an asset for my riding pleasure and budget.

Much More Than Just An Awesome Offroad Vehicle
This is hands down one of the best vehicles I have ever driven. It could go anywhere, on or off the road. It was comfortable enough to be a daily driver and versatile enough to use it for work, towing a trailer, etc. I bought it used with 185,000 miles and put another 100,000 on it over 5 years and it hardly has had any issues and required relatively low maintenance. Toyota makes some of the best vehicles in the world and the 4runner is near the top of that list. I receive many compliments when driving this vehicle. Everyone I know who has driven it or even just rode along has been pleased with it's features and the overall driving experience. One concern is that it doesn't get the best gas mileage and I do a lot of driving. This is to be expected though because it is a SUV with a v6. I have driven it on trails where most of the other trucks where lifted pickups with mudding tires and rarely had an issue getting it up and over even the most steep and treacherous hill climbs. It has plenty of space even when riding with multiple passengers. The roll down window on the back hatch door is a 4runner signature and really awesome for all kinds of situations from accessing work equipment to camping to getting groceries. I really have basically no complaints about this vehicle: I've driven the heck out of it and had very few problems compared to other vehicles I've owned or been familiar with the driving and ownership experiences.
