Reliable, sporty and comfortable Toyota 4Runner
The 2003 Toyota 4Runner is super versatile. I have driven it in deep snow, in the mud in the mountains and through blazing hot summer days. It has a ton of room to camp in the car or put outdoor equipment on top or inside. I have moved twice and fit all of my stuff in the car in one trip. The stereo system is really high quality and hasn't declined with age. The stereo comes stock JBL, which is a rare find for a car that old. It has a six-disc CD changer and tape player, which I thought was cool if you wanted to bring out old tapes or CDs. The radio plays really well, and it has a ton of room for favorite stations. The interior is roomy enough to fit stuff and people without feeling cramped. It is great to put my dogs in their big bed and still have room for bags when we go camping. The leather seats never get too hot in the summer, and there are seat warmers for the winter days. The back window rolls down to let the air in on long, hot road trips. The exterior has maintained a nice, shiny coat over the years. I think it looks like a way newer car than it is. There is no breakdown in the paint or rust on it at all, and I park it outside all the time. The 4WD has allowed me to safely drive over mountain passes and over rocky mountain roads with complete control.

To the moon.
One of the first things I noticed about the 4runner when I bought it was its good looks. Until now, I think that it has stood the test of time because it still looks as if I bought it a few years ago. The design can actually compete with the newer models as far as aerodynamics and its overall aesthetics. I've driven the car from Florida to Georgia, Tennessee, Chicago, New York, Connecticut, Boston and even as far as Canada and it never failed me. The mileage on it is about the distance from the Earth to the Moon. The interior still looks great although there are small signs of normal wear and tear but other than that, it's in great condition. I like the looks of it just as much as I love driving it. Driving to all those places, in different kinds of weather, I honestly can't complain. The only thing that really stands out as far as repairs is the front disc brakes. I have 18" Enkei alloy wheels on there and it probably has something to do with the design because I must've changed my front brake calipers three times and I doubt that's normal. The rotor, for some reason, always warps after a year or so. But as far as maintenance, the only thing I constantly change is its oil and radiator flushes from time to time. The timing belt on it is actually a chain so there's no need to replace it every 60,000 miles or so.
