When I was first looking for a vehicle, I wanted a model that could satisfy my needs in terms of fuel economy (12 mpg city and highway combined), durability, practicality, safety, but most importantly, one that could match my budget. My Yaris has all of it. The overall driving experience is great with this model, even after three years of use. It still maintains the same feel as the first day. Maintenance is fairly cheap, which is something most people seem to overlook, only requiring the typical oil change and some minor tweaks. Being a "small car" it is surprisingly spacious. You feel like there is room for anything. The trunk has a good size, plus folding the seats helps with storage. I put a washing machine back there once.

Love my tiny car!
I purchased my Yaris in 2014, and I have loved it! The size is perfect for me--a compact car that is easy as pie to park. It fits in tight spots, and I rarely have to back up and straighten out. It heats and cools quickly, and even in Colorado winters, it doesn't take too long to get the engine ready to go. There are only a few things I would change. As I have a baseline model, it does not have a back-up cam or digital center console of any sort. It also has old-fashioned roll-down windows, the sort you wouldn't even expect them to make anymore! Finally, one would expect such a small car to get better gas mileage than it does--only about 25 mpg. I am guessing some of these things would be resolved by getting a more "luxury" model rather than the bare bones one I have. Nonetheless, I have loved my tiny car.
