Good vehicle for the $$$
Like the storage room Like the storage in back that is not carpeted Dislike the length of the roof line for carrying sporting gear Engine/motor has been extremely reliable/dependable/low maintenance Do not like the blind spot on right rear Check Engine light on when purchased at dealer, went thru several repairs in order to eliminate the light, as they could not pinpoint all issues immediately but only in resolution of one would they find the other The car is noisy on the interior when in use, not ideal for conversation Is comfortable to drive Gas mileage never met the sticker standard advertised For small SUV handled very well on the road in wind Did not like the way glass/door on rear hatch was separated, friends would open the door rather than window by default of lever placement

Excellent
I love my Kia Sportage. I have 180,000 miles on it and it is still running strong. I have not had any major malfunctions and have kept up with regular maintenance for the ten years I have owned the vehicle. I have not had to put a ton of money into it and that, to me, speaks volumes on quality. It drives well, especially in Minnesota winter road conditions. It is a mid-size SUV, but is perfect for my lifestyle. On the off chance that I transport larger items (such as furniture when I moved), I was able to do so easily by folding down the seats. The 4WD is a life-saver in the winter. I felt safe with the air bag features and quality construction of the vehicle itself. When taking long trips, it is a comfortable ride and has space for the kids to move around. The gas mileage isn't the greatest, but isn't bad for a mid-size SUV. I will never go back to a car after owning this SUV. I have high expectations that it will last me another 3-5 years. I would not hesitate to purchase another KIA Sportage at that time. This vehicle has definitely served me well.
