The 2014 Kia Sportage is a mid-sized crossover type of SUV, it has fold down seats to allow for more room in the trunk area when there isn't rear passengers. The engine is fairly powerful and does not have an issue maintaining fast speed on the highway. It comes with a back up camera which is very helpful when parking. One of the biggest flaws however is the number of blind-spots, and how bad they are. Sometimes it is very hard to see cars coming up behind and passing you because of how the car is designed. It is one of the biggest problems with the vehicle. Also I do not like how the trunk space is rather small, you can fit groceries and smaller items, but it's barely large enough to fit in a child's stroller. A lot of times it is hard to merge onto the expressway near me, cars frequently will not let you merge and you often have to speed up and get ahead of them off the ramp, this vehicle has the perfect amount of power to allow you to do so.

I love my Kia Sportage! It's so roomy I keep forgetting that it easily fits in a compact parking spot. The height is just right, and it's so easy to get in and out of, load up with groceries, sporting gear, or whatever! The rear seats fold down, and I can load up the car with so much gear. I've even been able to load 12 foot lumber with no problem! It's easy to drive and easy to maintain. I get great gas mileage with little trade off for power. It even has an Eco setting to improve fuel efficiency. It handles snowy, mountainous roads with ease as well as muddy off road travel with its all wheel drive. Story
Every day I load my dogs in the back and we go to the park to play. Rain, heat, cold, it doesn't matter. The car always performs. The heater heats up quickly, the air conditioning is very efficient, and I never ever get stuck in the mud.
Pros
My favorite features of this vehicle are its ease of use, its safety rating, gas mileage, and it has a great stock stereo. Bluetooth enabled is easy to set up and I love the car talk feature. Everything is within reach of the driver, so I don't have to take my eyes off the road. It handles so well and is quite roomy for five passengers while still offering lots of room in the back.
Cons
My biggest problem with this vehicle is that I cannot open the rear hatch with my fob or button around the driver seat. It must be opened manually, with hands. And it is smaller than it seems. I often park it in a spot for full sized vehicles and, if I pull all the way up to the front of the spot, I lose the car because other cars block my view.
