Pass It Up
This is one of the worst cars I have ever driven. The body is cheaply made. My toddler hit the car with a stick and put a dint in the body. The cars build is all wrong. When driving at medium speeds with the windows down it feels like my ear drums are going to explode. The cars interior is cheaply made and very basic. Driving long distances in the car is a pain because the seats are so uncomfortable. The back seat is tilted at such a stage angle that it makes it near impossible to install a car seat. After driving for only two hours, my back, legs and butt are very sore. I do not have this problem in my Jeep Cherokee year 2000. The user electronics are crap. I cannot connect my iPad to the Kia to play music via Bluetooth. Cars windshield is too long. It feels like I'm getting sunburned when I'm driving and its sunny. Air from the air conditioner doesn't get cold enough. After only 7,000 miles on a brand new car my fire blew out on the highway. I enjoy going to the drive ins and there is a light that turns on in the trunk on the side that cannot be turned off it the trunk is opened. Makes it very difficult to focus non movie with a blinding shining in your eyes. The breaks are good and it drives okay for it being newer but the cons outweigh the pros. Do not buy this car.

Great car, great price!
I love my Kia Sportage! It's so roomy I keep forgetting that it easily fits in a compact parking spot. The height is just right, and it's so easy to get in and out of, load up with groceries, sporting gear, or whatever! The rear seats fold down, and I can load up the car with so much gear. I've even been able to load 12 foot lumber with no problem! It's easy to drive and easy to maintain. I get great gas mileage with little trade off for power. It even has an Eco setting to improve fuel efficiency. It handles snowy, mountainous roads with ease as well as muddy off road travel with its all wheel drive. It has more air bags than I can count, and was deemed the safest SUV available in 2014. I opted for cloth seats, and that is my biggest complaint. Being an all-wheel vehicle and using it to carry dirty sports gear, sweaty kids, and dogs, cleaning it is a bit of a challenge. I also find that the hazard light button is in an awkward place and the interior lighting, like the dash board icons, radio display and such, are red which I find to be distracting. I have to say though, that for the price I got a real bargain.

I really like my Kia Sportage. It's the first time I ever leased a car and the first time I had AWD. That was my main reason for getting a SUV, because I had previously only owned front wheel drive cars and I live in Buffalo where there is a lot of snow. Driving to and from work and school in small, unreliable cars was actually scary. I decided in the Fall of 2014 that I needed something that I could feel safe in when driving through the snow. I went to the dealership and test drove about five SUV's. I absolutely loved the Sportage because it's so easy to handle and is extremely reliable in the snow.
