A decent mid sized SUV
The 2014 Kia Sportage is a mid-sized crossover type of SUV, it has fold down seats to allow for more room in the trunk area when there isn't rear passengers. The engine is fairly powerful and does not have an issue maintaining fast speed on the highway. It comes with a back up camera which is very helpful when parking. One of the biggest flaws however is the number of blind-spots, and how bad they are. Sometimes it is very hard to see cars coming up behind and passing you because of how the car is designed. It is one of the biggest problems with the vehicle. Also I do not like how the trunk space is rather small, you can fit groceries and smaller items, but it's barely large enough to fit in a child's stroller. All in all the Kia Sportage is an adequate crossover SUV but after my lease is up I will probably choose a different vehicle.

Great car, great price!
I love my Kia Sportage! It's so roomy I keep forgetting that it easily fits in a compact parking spot. The height is just right, and it's so easy to get in and out of, load up with groceries, sporting gear, or whatever! The rear seats fold down, and I can load up the car with so much gear. I've even been able to load 12 foot lumber with no problem! It's easy to drive and easy to maintain. I get great gas mileage with little trade off for power. It even has an Eco setting to improve fuel efficiency. It handles snowy, mountainous roads with ease as well as muddy off road travel with its all wheel drive. It has more air bags than I can count, and was deemed the safest SUV available in 2014. I opted for cloth seats, and that is my biggest complaint. Being an all-wheel vehicle and using it to carry dirty sports gear, sweaty kids, and dogs, cleaning it is a bit of a challenge. I also find that the hazard light button is in an awkward place and the interior lighting, like the dash board icons, radio display and such, are red which I find to be distracting. I have to say though, that for the price I got a real bargain.
