The car is about the right size for my needs. Excellent warranty, and they back it up well. Performs as expected, and handles well. Nice interior, and decent space
Story
None. I just do regular commutes, and errands.
Pros
Great gas mileage, good power given the engine size and automatic + A/C. Plenty of cargo space, and rides well enough.
Cons
Has a couple of blind spots that weren't in the previous design, and require more attention to cross traffic, when changing lanes, etc. Driver's seat is a tad small for a normal sized or larger American male.

2012 Kia Sportage - All around great vehicle for a small family.

I spent a massive amount of research on cars before settling on the Kia Sportage and owning it for 3 years, I absolutely made the right choice. For context, at the time I purchased the car, my family consisted of myself and my husband. My husband is 6'6 which means many cars get ruled out from head room and leg room. Despite the Sportage being a "crossover"/ smaller SUV, it has ample space. It has all the perks of a car without any of the cons of a SUV.
Story
My husband took me for a surprise getaway to a private cabin up in the N. Georgia mountains. The cabin was wonderful, the road to it was not. When they said remote/private, what they actually meant was unmaintained dirt/gravel road up a small mountain. We picked up the key to the cabin at the bottom of said mountain and since we were going "just up the road" I didn't put my seatbelt back on. T... (more)
Pros
- Very spacious and comfortable interior - it comfortably fits my 6'6 husband, myself, our 15 yr old nephew, another 6'2 friend and our 50lb dog on a weekly basis. The seats (leather) are very comfortable and easy to clean. All the surfaces in the car tha
Cons
I have very few and reasonably insignificant cons for this car. I love it. Here are the few irritating things about it: -the MPG calculation resets every time you get gas. It's minor, but it would be nice to know what the long term MPG is on the car. -The USB port is not in the best place. I like to lay my phone in the area where that port is, and having a cable plugged in makes the phone not able to lay flat. -The AC/Heat/Airflow to the back seat could be better. It isn't horrible, but an extra vent on the back of the center console that is dedicated to the back of the car would make m... (more)
