I bought this Kia Sportage just under a month ago after finally selling my Chrysler Pacifica. I was skeptical at first, because it is much smaller than my previous car, but I have been pleasantly surprised with how roomy it is. The front seats are wide and extremely comfortable. I chose the cloth seats because, living in Arizona, leather is just a death trap! I am only 5'1", and I can easily adjust the driver's seat and steering well to make my visibility out the windshield perfect. The seat not only adjusts forward but up as well which is a huge requirement for us short people. This car is perfect!
Story
I haven't had a new car in eight years. My first drive in this car was to Baskin Robbins and they were holding a fundraiser night. Four people told me they loved my car (it's black cherry color) and took a look at it. That made me feel super excited that I had chosen the right car!
Pros
Besides the comfort of the car, you can't forget the ten year, 100,000 mile warranty. I bought my Kia used and was given the remainder of that original warranty! Fantastic! The dashboard is easy to read, and I love that I can control almost everything including the steering wheel (which, by the way, is also extremely comfortable!). The Bluetooth feature is easy to navigate, and I never have to look away from the road to play music, change tracks, change the volume, etc. Everything is at my fingertips. Great safety perks!
Cons
The only negative this car has for me is its blind spots out the front windshield. The large parts of the car to the left and right often block vision when checking traffic to make turns. You definitely have to lean forward to look around those blind spots. Other than that, this car ROCKS!!

The car rides very smoothly, and it's easy to handle. I like how easy it is to maneuver the steering wheel even though it is turbo. I also really like the style of the car. It gives great gas mileage for its class, and I like the option to use an eco mode, regular mode, and turbo mode. It performs very well, and I feel like it's worth more than what I paid for it.
Story
Bringing our newborn baby home in the car! It felt awesome to know we had a safe and reliable to car to bring our newborn home in. It was a very special and memorable trip driving home from the birthing center in our new car.
Pros
One of the top positive things is its crash safety rating. It had one of the best in its class, which was a top reason why I purchased it. It has the largest sun/moon roof I have ever seen in a car as well, and people in the backseat can enjoy it as well since it reaches all the way back. I love the lights on the car as well. I love the safety features as well. I also love the interior. It's very nice and classy and upscale looking.
Cons
One thing I don't like as much as the sensitivity of its parking sensors. It sometimes goes off when I'm just stopped at a light ,and I'm not sure what it's sensing, so it beeps. I also wish I could adjust the beeping sound volume on the safety features. There is a lot of beeping when I'm driving around due to over sensitivity of the features or other reasons. Another con is that the ride is a little bit bumpy in the backseat.
