I bought this Kia Sportage just under a month ago after finally selling my Chrysler Pacifica. I was skeptical at first, because it is much smaller than my previous car, but I have been pleasantly surprised with how roomy it is. The front seats are wide and extremely comfortable. I chose the cloth seats because, living in Arizona, leather is just a death trap! I am only 5'1", and I can easily adjust the driver's seat and steering well to make my visibility out the windshield perfect. The seat not only adjusts forward but up as well which is a huge requirement for us short people. This car is perfect!
Story
I haven't had a new car in eight years. My first drive in this car was to Baskin Robbins and they were holding a fundraiser night. Four people told me they loved my car (it's black cherry color) and took a look at it. That made me feel super excited that I had chosen the right car!
Pros
Besides the comfort of the car, you can't forget the ten year, 100,000 mile warranty. I bought my Kia used and was given the remainder of that original warranty! Fantastic! The dashboard is easy to read, and I love that I can control almost everything including the steering wheel (which, by the way, is also extremely comfortable!). The Bluetooth feature is easy to navigate, and I never have to look away from the road to play music, change tracks, change the volume, etc. Everything is at my fingertips. Great safety perks!
Cons
The only negative this car has for me is its blind spots out the front windshield. The large parts of the car to the left and right often block vision when checking traffic to make turns. You definitely have to lean forward to look around those blind spots. Other than that, this car ROCKS!!

I think this is the best car I have ever driven. It handles amazing in the snow and is great for northern winters! It handles like a dream. It gets up and goes when I want it to, and I can easily switch into Eco mode when I am exploring around the city. Eye catching and efficient!
Story
We brought our vehicle to the local white mountains. It handles the incline great, and everyone had a great time. Even my son when he spilt his milkshake on my car! The clean up was easy, and you can't even see it today!
Pros
The seat are comfortable and spacey. There is plenty of room in the cargo area for all of the things needed for a great lake day. The handling in the winter could not be better. The dark seats make for easy clean up. I get about 25 miles to the gallon, which is pretty good! Hill assist makes it great for living in the north. It prevents you from rolling backwards and allows you to stay at a steady speed when going up a steep hill.
Cons
The satellite radio that the car features is pretty useless unless you plan on renewing the membership. They constantly are sending me ads in the mail, basically begging, for me to renew. It is not ideal. Another negative for this vehicle is no spare tire. The Kia dealership told me I would have to call the hotline they provide to get a tow truck. Also, the traction control tends to kick on even when just driving in the rain, even after I have tried disabling it. Also, keep in mind the side mirrors do not defrost!
