The Mazda CX-7 is a great car to own. It is small on the road but quick because of the dual exhaust system. It has a great pick up and go power behind it. It is great on gas the only downfall with that is it requires the supreme unleaded which of course is the most expensive gas to purchase. However, it makes a huge difference with the way the car drives. The car appears to have a ton of features that you learn as you go along or you can just read the manual and try to memorize them all. it as plenty compartment space so there is lots of room to store everything. The trunk is spacious. The tires are a bit expensive so look to put out close to sixty dollars for a tire. There are some problems with the airbag light coming on. There has been a recall on that. The car does ride smooth. The... (more)
Story
My most favorite memory was being at a stop light and all the cars behind me got from behind me because they thought my car was going to take off slow and they would pass me and get in my lane. I pulled off fast and left them in my dust.
Pros
The Mazda CX-7 is a great car to own. It is small on the road but quick because of the dual exhaust system. It has a great pick up and go power behind it. It is great on gas, so you can travel far and spend just a little on gas.
Cons
The only downfall to the car would have to be the unpredictable warning lights that come on at various times. The tire light stays on and the airbag light stays on. It can be nerve wrecking. Also, there have been some problems with the rpm gauge spinning unpredictable at times. Overall, if you keep the car maintained there is very little concern. The tires are a bit expensive so look to put out close to sixty dollars for a tire. There are some problems with the airbag light coming on. There has been a recall on that.

The car is reliable. Has been used in the winter for 5+ years and has very good traction on icy roads and in heavy snow. The car seats five people comfortably. It has had a few problems over the years like the transmission going out. Electrical problems with windows, headlights, stereo - they seem to have been sorted out now. The traction control system works very well when you start to slip on the icy, snowy roads - the system kicks in and stops the tire rotation. I would highly recommend a vehicle like this if you live in a wintry area. The GPS did not have the greatest functionality, but worked for most stuff unless it was a new area. Mazda wanted $600 for the GPS CD update for new maps!!! Just buy a TomTom or similar and put it on the window... free updates for life.
Story
Driving it in the winter the car is very reliable and sticks to the road
Pros
Traction control system. Seats five. Leather seats with seat warmers. The BOSE speaker system that came in it was very nice and got very loud for a stock system. It was more comparable to an aftermarket sound system.
Cons
Electrical problems - head lights going out, transmission went out and needed replacement. GPS uses a lot of power can not leave key on for more then 15 min without the car dying and not being able to start.
