I got the Mazda CX-7 after crashing my previous vehicle. It wasn't my first choice, but I am quite impressed by its performance and the different features it has that my previous vehicle didn't. I like how quickly it accelerates so that I can switch lanes faster. Its leg room and spacious trunk are perfect for traveling comfortably and hauling around cargo, and it holds a spare tire in a hidden compartment in the trunk. I'm not a fan of the manual dials, the miles per gallon, and the fact that it gets dirty so quickly.
Story
I once scared my boyfriend when I made a legal U-turn with oncoming traffic being a little too close. My car accelerates pretty quickly, so we didn't get hit or anything, but he always puts that over my head that he almost died.
Pros
I love that it's a crossover, making it not too big or small for me to drive. The trunk space is pretty big, you can seat five people including the driver comfortably, and the A/C is able to make the interior cool pretty quickly. It has cruise control, the ability to program numbers to your favorite radio stations, and an auxiliary port to listen to music on your phone or mp3 device. If you enjoy driving standard, there's also the option to do that with the automatic shift stick.
Cons
I don't like how quickly it gets dirty, the manual A/C knobs, and how quickly my gas goes. Yes, it drives fast, but that means the gas will go quickly if not monitored or used carefully. There also aren't many Mazda dealerships around, so I'll usually have to go to other mechanics for oil changes and make long trips for recalls.

2011 Mazda CX-7 - Drives like a car, not like a truck.

My vehicle is the Mazda CX-7. I purchased the car new from the dealership. I am a short person and the vehicle seems to fit me perfectly. It adjusts easily and is easy to see out the windows. It has a nice cloth interior. It sits higher than a car but does not too big. It also handles like a car and has good turn ratio. It has plenty of space for seating and storage. I would definitely buy this car again.
Story
My car has helped me travel many places in and around the U.S. I live in Wisconsin and have traveled to many surrounding states for vacations and it seems to ride very comfortable for long distances.
Pros
The things that I really appreciate about this vehicle are many. One is that it is really comfortable for any size person. Two is that it handles like a car not a truck. Three is that it has good space and storage. Four is that it was a decent price. Five is that the dealership and Mazda have great service.
Cons
A couple of items that I don't care for on the vehicle are the headlights. The headlights don't seem to shine very far so it is harder to see at night. Another item is the windshield wipers. The way they are designed there is always a line that sprays after it wipes so it does not fully clean a line on the passenger side.
