Great car unless you have a big family
Overall I like this vehicle. It drives well and I haven't had any mechanical problems with it in the four years since purchasing it. What originally attracted me to it is that it has seating for six. I have a family of five and did not want to buy a minivan or a big SUV. This car gave me the seating I needed, without having to purchase something large. It is good on gas and it doesn't look like a "mom-mobile". However, I thought there was going to be more room than there is. Once I get my three kids in the car, there is little room for anything else. There is absolutely no trunk space. If I want to go grocery shopping, I have to go without the kids because there is no place for groceries. I also worry about the safety of my two children seated in the very back. I fear that if we were rear ended by another vehicle, they could be injured. I love all the other aspects of the car. The interior is nice, the car rides lower to the ground, which I like, and there are adequate features such as cup holders and storage space under two of the seats.

Great family vehicle.
I love the room in my Mazda 5. We are all tall in my family but have plenty of leg room, so as we travel to activities or run errands together. It rides smoothly, enabling us to be comfortable and relaxed while traveling. We keep the third row of seats flat, giving us plenty of room for groceries, and we can put the second row partially down for hauling larger items. It is much taller than my previous car, and while it sounds minor, being able to reach the ticket machine in a parking garage without having to unbuckle and open a door is very convenient.
