I've owned this vehicle for almost 10 years (since August 2008) and I couldn't be any happier with the reliability, performance, and prestigious looks. Over the years I've owned several vehicles, and this Mercedes has been the longest I ever held to one car. With more than 120,000 miles driven so far, a single synthetic engine oil change every 13,000 miles as per the manufacturer's recommendations, I could see the precise German engineering in action. This brand, being the very first in the auto industry, is obviously envied by all the other manufacturers worldwide. If there is any drawbacks, I would mention the slightly higher engine noise during idle operation, compared with other luxury vehicles, with the front windows lowered down. A business associate sharing the same building walked over one day and asked me how could you maintain this vehicle looking this great after all these years. He also owned a similar car, but for whatever reason, he thought I always gave personal attention to how my car looked all the times. That was a nice compliment!
Pros
Responsiveness, acceleration, comfortable seating, and excellent options for air conditioning.
Cons
Location of the fuel pump underneath the back seat is a little odd, and can cause a safety hazard case of any leaks.

The E350 is a great quality car as you'd expect from Mercedes, but it's not the "drivers" car that you'd get from a 5 series. The interior trim is well done with quality finishes, and the interior cabin is quiet. The steering is numb with very little feedback. The worst aspect of the car is the lag time from throttle to response. If I didn't know any better, I'd say this car was turbocharged. The ride is comfortable, as is expected for Mercedes. Plenty of room in the back seat and trunk.
Story
Found a curvy section of road and put it into manual sport mode. The car is a beast, but you can still have fun on the corners.
Pros
Great ride. Quality finish on the interior. Great trunk space. Powerful sound system.
Cons
Lag time between throttle and response. Little to no feedback in the steering.
