I was a little tired of a big SUV. A big bulky behemoth of a car to negotiate the streets and freeways of sprawling Los Angeles. I was done but needed the room. Brain storm number one: A wagon! I need space for my frequent trips to the flower market and estate sales. But what wagon? There are some cute ones out there. That zippy little Audi A3. The tempting BMW 325 wagon. Both so cute and so fun to drive but...small! I stopped by the Mercedes dealer and hopped in their roomy wagon, and it was over. Fun to drive. Space in the back and all the bells and whistles I would ever want. Truth be told, I am not big on all those "bells and whistles." As my grandfather said, just more to go wrong (cigar in mouth driving his divine black Lincoln Continental with, yes, those suicide doors!). It's b... (more)
Story
Driving up to Santa Barbara weekly is always enjoyable in this car. I feel safe and love the stereo system and Bluetooth. It makes it easy to take business calls. I look forward to some day having grand children sitting in their car seats in the back. I have enjoyed being able to use this vehicle for both pleasure and business. The best memories are the ones that I am looking forward to, and t... (more)
Pros
Love the colors they have to offer. Plenty of room in the back. Feels good to drive. Safe.
Cons
Expensive to maintain. Lots of gas.

It's a nice car but overrated. We have friends and family who have Mercedes and some swear by them. To be honest, Mercedes are overrated. They handle well, but I never liked the acceleration. It has a very heavy pedal. Repairs and maintenance are ridiculously over priced.
Story
I brought the car in a for a scheduled oil change. When I went into the lobby, I wasn't expecting so much free snacks and drinks. Definitely an upgrade from a Ford dealership.
Pros
It's an okay-looking car with a lot of features (that you have to pay for). Germans engineering clearly shows in the engine and comfort. The car has great acceleration and handles beautifully. You can't help but feel like your in a nice car just because of the name. I love the dashboard.
Cons
Overpriced in my opinion. As nice as this car is, I don't think it's worth $60,000. I'm sorry, but Japanese cars have much better features included for less money. The entertainment center is not touchscreen. What car doesn't provide touchscreen now? That's absurd. Maintenance and repairs are way too expensive. It think they feel they have a right to charge as much as they do because of the brand. Ridiculous.
