I like this car. There are many more positive things about it than negative things. This car is very spacious and comfortable. There is a lot of leg room and room for four-five people. It has a very large trunk, capable of fitting a lot of groceries and other things in it. It has four doors and keyless entry. It is sometimes difficult to park and navigate due to its large size. Its back end sticks out when parked in any space. It does not get good gas mileage and uses a great deal of gas. However, it has been a very reliable, dependable car. I haven't had many maintenance issues at all with this vehicle-only regular maintenance. It does not have much horsepower, but it gets you where you need to go. It is beige in color, with a beige interior as well. It was purchased used or pre-owned... (more)
Story
I and four of my friends went to a drive-in movie in this car. We all sat through the double feature at the drive-in and were very comfortable the whole time. All of my friends remarked how they didn't know of anyone who had a large enough car that we could all fit in and still be comfortable after sitting inside of it for three hours. We all had a very fun time.
Pros
My favorite features or top positive things about this vehicle are the number of doors (four), the amount of room inside the vehicle (spacious), the leg room, the very large trunk, exterior and interior color.
Cons
The vehicle is very large-back end sticks out of almost every parking space. Sometimes hard to navigate and park due to its very large size. It does not get very good gas mileage-uses a lot of gas. It does not have a lot of horsepower/speed-it's slow moving. Looks like a very boring car-like an older person's car.

My 2005 Mercury Grand Marquis is a solidly built vehicle designed with luxury and reliability in mind. I like its appearance, performance and quality. The interior is roomy with the ability to seat six persons comfortably. Even with 140,000 miles, the leather is in excellent condition. My mother-in-law loves the wood-like trim.
Story
The most memorable event was taking it off road to avoid several deer crossing the highway. Wasn't particularly fun.
Pros
The 4.6L V-8 performs well on freeway ramps and cruises easily at highway speeds, while still getting slightly over 20 miles to the gallon on long trips. Even in city driving, with a light touch on the accelerator, the mileage is only slightly less than the mini-van I previously owned. Well-built, the interior doors open and close solidly, with little or no wind noise. The trunk is so large, I use it to take my lawnmower to my mother-in-law's house. The reliability is great; many miles and few component failures, just routine replacement for wear and tear.
Cons
The design of the center console under the dashboard is lacking. Normal use and the trim at the bottom broke off. Tire wear under normal, non-abusive use seems high. The wheel center caps do not stay on well and/or are easy targets for theft. I'm seriously considering getting one-piece hubcaps. The driver's side seat belt buckle is placed too tightly in from center and is uncomfortable on long trips.
