My car is a dark blue with cream colored leather interior, 2009 Mercury Grand Marquis. It has a 4.6 liter V8 engine and can seat up to six adults. I love the color scheme of this car, blue is my favorite color for cars. The comfortable, power heated leather seats are another favorite of mine. For its size and weight it performs nicely, the V8 offers plenty of power and it will effortlessly eat up the highway miles. Build quality is overall pretty good. The interior is a bit plasticky but overall fit and finish is pretty good and I've had no problems with the car from a quality point of view. I love this car due to the fact it offers such space, size and comfort and is exceptionally reliable as well.
Story
It's just such a large and comfortable vehicle that we almost always take it when I go out with friends or family on Long Island. It's the usual choice when I go out to dinner in groups. I have no problem putting 5 adults in it and everyone has plenty of space and is comfortable.
Pros
This car is exceptionally large and comfortable. It is the last of the full sized rear wheel drive American sedans and combines this old school package with modern electronics and systems. The V8 engine has plenty of power. For its size it gets quite good gas mileage and can even run on E85 flex fuel which is quite inexpensive. The car is dead reliable and very easy and simple to work on and maintain. The ride is also exceptionally good owning to the fact it has an air suspension system like its platform mate the Lincoln Town Car. The car also has various modern niceties such as heated sea... Cons
It's large size makes it a bit difficult to park. It is lacking in some of the newer convenience features a vehicle from 2009 may have such as a navigation system, back up camera or parking sensors.
