I really love my Nissan Maxima. What first got my attention was the exterior styling. It is a 4-door sedan but it has a very sporty look from the front grill to the rear wide base. My particular model has some extra features like Bose sound system and panoramic moonroof. It has a CVT transmission which at first is a little slow at start but around 40mph really kicks in. It's quiet, the interior is very nice. The steering and handling are good. The car does feel a little heavy at times but nothing too bad. The engine is quiet for a V-6.
Story
Because my car had a spoiler, moonroof and dark tint I was approached by another fellow Maxima owner asking me where I had my tint done. He was interested in tinting his car and said how nice it looked on mine.
Pros
I really like the look of the car. It's an eye catcher for sure. It has an aggressive stance. I love the Bose sound system. The panoramic moonroof is fun. The heating steering wheel and seats are a must in cold weather and add that touch of luxury to the car. I like the 280 horsepower the car has. You can really feel it after 40mph.
Cons
I do not like the CVT transmission. It feels too sluggish. I don't like how heavy the car feels at times. I do not like the Bluetooth in the car. It only works for talking and not playing music through my phone.

The first thing I noticed about the Maxima was its styling. It had a low stance, aggressive for a four-door sedan. It came with a rear spoiler, 18" wheels, Ocean Gray metallic paint and a panoramic sunroof. The car overall is very "curvy" and will catch the eye on the open road. The interior looks and feels like a luxury-brand. This particular Maxima has leather interior which feels very comfortable. It has matte-metallic and soft-touch surfaces along the rest of the interior. The cockpit-like instrument panel design in the 2010 Nissan Maxima especially stands out, and it resembles that offered in several vehicles from Infiniti, Nissan's upmarket brand. The 290-horsepower, 3.5-liter V-6 engine that propels the 2010 Nissan Maxima is extremely smooth, and it allows relaxed acceleration i... (more)
Story
Driving on a trip to the beach, my daughter took over the radio controls from the back seat. This particular model offers radio/temp controls from the backseat pull down panel. She had a blast.
Pros
Responsive handling and great steering. Stylish interior. Quiet, absorbent ride. Excellent sport seats. Great exterior styling.
Cons
CVT transmission. Rear headroom. Some blind spots on side mirrors.
