Reliable
I started off by leasing my Avalon when I was first out of college. I knew, from the very first time that I drove this car, that I would end up buying it. There are so many good things to say about this car. Not only has it held up over 173,000 miles, but I still get great gas mileage to this day. The ride is smooth, it has required very little maintenance, and still looks good on the outside. Sure, small things, like the water pump, will occasionally give out, but that is to be expected with any car. Another great feature of this car is the space. People who ride in my back seat are always telling me how much leg room that they have. I also enjoy the trunk space. I have two young children, and my trunk can hold all of their stuff plus a stroller without a problem. One downside is that the cloth seats tend to stain easily, which is a problem when you have two young children. Overall, this car is outstanding and I would recommend anyone who is looking for a large sedan.

One of the best cars you can buy for the money.
Ultra reliable, roomy, and full of power the Toyota Avalon brings Lexus level luxury at a Toyota price. The 280-hp, 3.5-liter V-6 engine and a five-speed automatic with a manumatic feature offer a sporty high performance driving experience. In cabin luxuries such as multi disc CD, dual climate zones, reclining rear seats, and rear sun shade ensure that all passengers ride in comfort. Other comforts include a Smart Key system that unlocks the doors when the key fob is in close proximity and allows the engine to be fired up at the push of a button. No more fishing keys out of your pockets. Hop in and drive. One of the things that could be improved is that in order to allow the reclining rear seats, there is no fold down option to allow large object pass through to the trunk. Rather instead the pass through is a small window convenient for accessing a cooler that may be in the trunk but not for transporting larger items like table tops. You will be hard pressed to find a better value for the money. This car offers luxury, comfort, looks, and performance, with the unmatched Toyota reliability. Safety features include laser guidance with cruise control. Passengers are also protected by side curtain air bags. Driving safety is further enhanced by blind spot warning indicators on the side view mirrors to help the driver know if it is safe to change lanes. Hop in. Enjoy the ride. You won't regret it. Designed by Toyota's Calty Design Research in California, which carved a more chiseled body than previous version, you will find it very similar to models offered by Mercedes and Lexus.
