Great car with FWD!
This car is great, and I have bought it already used. I enjoy the height of the car for it allows me to see everything from a wide perspective and makes the peripheral vision more attainable. The spacious interior is also a plus, and I was able to accommodate many friends in this car. The speed and the gas accumulation is great and has allowed me to save some money. The four-wheel drive is awesome since I live in a region that can rain and snow in different seasons. It has helped me to maneuver through the roads effortlessly. The sunroof is an added bonus in the summer also. Some of my dislikes with this car is the white color that I purchased. It easily gets dirty, and I need to have a car wash often. I also don't like the color of the interior since the cream is susceptible to dirt. The "check engine" also pops up once in awhile, even after I have gotten it checked. The mechanic always needs to "reset" it. Since this is an older model, it does not suit my current lifestyle of playing music through Bluetooth. I needed to purchase a tape adapter in order for me to do this. Overall, this car is great and gets me from the destinations that I need to be.

A stylish, safe, comfortable car.
First of all, the Highlander is a visually attractive car. It's not a sports car, but it doesn't have the "soccer mom" look of many other SUVs. It comes in a variety of colors. I own the blue but also love the green and silver. The body has a sleek look. The interior is very comfortable. I can drive for many hours without feeling sore or having neck cramps, which is not true for many other cars I have driven. The car also drives very smoothly and is responsive without being overly touchy. There's excellent trunk space, which I have used in multiple moves as a college student. In other cars I needed two trips, but this car only required one! The trunk is also great for pets. I throw a dog bed in it, and my dog will sleep for a five-hour drive in comfort. The car has had a battery replaced and minor maintenance, but it has over 150,000 miles on it and is twelve years old and has never needed major maintenance. It is still going strong. Toyota definitely gives you value for your money! Also, this car is high enough and has four-wheel drive, which is good not only in bad weather (driving to school in sleet living in the north) and for off-roading at the beach! I love to drive over the sand with my dogs in the back and don't have to worry about damaging the car.
