2013 Toyota Highlander - Beautiful, spacious, reliable
I think that the Toyota RAV4 is a great car overall because of its excellent mileage and spacious trunk. However, since it is classified a small SUV, it is does not have a third-row seat. But, I still think it is an exemplary family car because it can house up to five people and has pockets on the back of the first row seat for children to put stuff in. The next point I would like to deliver is that the engine delivers good acceleration, and the engine does not make any engine strain noise on the city or the highway. The fuel capacity is 16 gallons, meaning that it can go for up to 750 miles without refueling at all. The top speed is rated at about 145 miles per hour; however, we usually do not exceed the speed limit of 80 miles per hour. The storage compartment is spacious and can hou... (more)

The storage compartment is spacious and can house many of your stuff that you need to store somewhere in your car. The headlights are a complete redesign from the previous generation and look much more futuristic and can light up the road ahead very good. The aerodynamics of the car are very good for a small SUV, meaning that the air flows around very good around the shape of the car when you are going at high speeds on the highway. The brake are excellent, for example, whenever you are going at 40 mph on the streets and you see an upcoming street light, the brakes will respond very goodly due to the fact that he brakes are specially equipped with an upgraded suspension and an added stronger chassis to absorb any shock that comes to the tires of the car and the vehicle needs to regain its balance on the road.
Once, we went to San Antonio, and the RAV4 responded beautifully, due to the fact that we hardly stopped to fuel at all due to the fact that it has an excellent 38 mpg overall. On the way to San Antonio, the vehicle had responded very good so far, and the car had so far had no engine problems on the way yet. On the way back from San Antonio, the car yet responded beautifully. Overall, me and m... (more)

On the way back from San Antonio, the car yet responded beautifully. Overall, me and my husband said that the car was a very good car to use for road trips. My children enjoyed the car as well, saying that they had enough room to store everything they had brought along for the trip, such as books or toys. Also, the Toyota RAV4 was very responsive to both the brakes and the engine system, along with the 7-inch touchscreen display that we could use Bluetooth on to listen to our favorite music. The windows were wide and big, making it easier for the kids to look out of them at the beautiful countryside. The tires were well equipped for the trip, and when we got back from the trip, my husband went to check the tires, and the tires had suffered no damage at all from the trip. The rims were well-made too and didn't get too dusty on the trip either. The windshield was strongly built and could withstand strong winds.

2013 Toyota Highlander - Best vehicle I've owned!
I had been wanting to update to a SUV type vehicle. I got to looking around and found the Toyota Highlander. It had good reviews, and I already had a Camry and knew Toyotas were good. So I shopped around online and found a good price. I went to the Toyota dealership and test drove it. It handled well and got up to speed quickly. It has some pep in it. It was really comfortable and it has lots of room for me and my family. The backseat area was really roomy and comfortable. The 3rd row seat folds down for additional storage. It drives well. It is smooth and not a lot of road noise. There are a couple of blind spots, but I have found out these are corrected with those little stick on round mirrors. It has all the latest safety features including all the side airbags. It has several nice ... (more)

It has all the latest safety features including all the side airbags. It has several nice features including cruise control and touch screen radio and a navigation system. I have had it 2 years now and it has never had a warranty issue. Just routine service. The one draw back is that it doesn't get that great gas mileage. While it isn't bad, it only gets around 24 miles per gallon. .
We had fun while driving to Florida. We spent time talking and had a really good time.

The top thing for this vehicle for me was the room. I wanted a vehicle that had more room. The highlander fits those needs with the roomy inside and the third row seat. I like how the third row seat will fold down and allow you more transport space in the rear of the vehicle. I like the handling of the vehicle. It is easy and fun to drive. Especially on long trips. The air is cold and you can set it on cruise and be gone. It is comfortable and is enjoyable to drive. It has Bluetooth on the phone calls. All functions are on the steering wheel for the driver. Such as cruise, radio buttons, and such. It is reliable and there isn't any breakdowns. You have 24/7 roadside assistance. Toyota gave me free oil changes and tire rotations for 2 years. This saves me a lot of money. Which is always a good thing. While the gas mileage isn't the best overall, it isn't the worse. I average around 24 miles per gallon. The vehicle is very fast and gets up to speed fast. While driving it, it cruises so well that you will not realize that you are going over the posted limit.
The only negative thing about this vehicle is that it only gets 24 miles per gallon. While this isn't that bad, it could be better. But it is worth the payoff when you take into account that you have more room and a bigger vehicle. The only other potential con would be all the electronic equipment that is on the vehicle. While this is very nice and easy for the driver, I'm afraid that over time it could malfunction and cause problems that will be very expensive to fix. However, there have been no issues to this date. So in summary, I love the vehicle very much. I do gripe when I have to fill up the tank and wish I got better mileage, but I am happy with the tradeoff. And I worry about the electronics. While they work perfect now, I am afraid over time that they will break, and I will be out a lot of money in repair costs. Overall the pros outweigh the cons by a landslide. If I had to pick the same vehicle again, I would stick to my guns and hands down pick the Toyota Highlander as my vehicle. I am a pound Toyota owner.
