I love driving the RAV4. Its a cute SUV that's not too big. It has decent room and seats at least 4 very comfortably. The back seats can fold down to give more room if needed. I have been able to haul Large sized, flattened boxes in the RAV. They fit perfectly when the seats are dropped down, and I was able to stack about 50 of them inside the car easily. When you are traveling with people in the back seat and they don't like sitting straight up in the back seat, they can adjust it to lean to their liking. The RAV gets amazing gas mileage. I did have an issue with an annoying squeaking coming from the back of the car, that nobody could tell me what it was coming from. A friend that had a RAV before me said that she dealt with a squeaking too. No major issues have been needed to take ca... (more)
Story
I took this car on a road trip to North Carolina, the Outer Banks. It was such a pleasant drive. The car was comfortable. My friends that went with me really enjoyed the trip too. Plus with the car doing so well on gas, it was over a 4 hour round-trip, I didn't have to fill up the car until I got back home, which I really enjoyed and my friends were amazed about it.
Pros
The RAV gets wonderful gas mileage, especially for a small SUV. The car is very comfortable to drive, especially for small road trips.
Cons
The squeaking is very annoying, must always have a radio going, to drown out the squeaking noise. The recall on parts was frustrating, most places didn't receive the parts I needed to fix my car for months.

I purchased my RAV 4 in 2013 from a local dealership. It took me three days to fall in love with it. Overall it looks very elegant and sleek. I also think that it has a bit of a sporty look to it, too. The car has spacious feel and good interior organization. Although I got the light color interior, there were enough options to choose from at the time. In addition to the choice of colors, other interior options existed. The manufacturer did a good job in organizing the interior space. If needed, the back seats collapse and create a large space for carrying extra large items. RAV 4 is a one step down from a full size van. While you wouldn't be able to carry as many passengers, you would be able to carry just as much luggage and even more. The interior luggage compartment has enough nook... (more)
Story
I was able to drive out of my garage over a driveway full of snow.
Pros
Very spacious, yet not too big so that you feel like you are in a van. Big enough to feel good in it. Very nice storage areas. Good cup holders. Nice door organizers. Good storage compartments at the back of the car. Nice overall sporty, elegant look.
Cons
Light color interior requires extra care for stain prevention. It is not enough to keep clean, you have to worry about the permanence of any speck when sitting on the seats. The color of this car seems "too soft" and I feel that it scratches easily.
