My vehicle was a certified pre-owned vehicle when I first saw it, and the interior looked pretty good from the look. Wasn't sure how it was going to turn out since I've never driven a SUV before, and this was my first time purchasing an automobile as costly as this. Gave it a few test drives to see how the engine is doing since it had been sitting there for about a month and was about to get auctioned off online. Feeling pretty satisfied, not too much rumbling, loud sounds, or uncomfortable bumps, so I went ahead and made a deal with the dealer. Checked out the interior design, it was pretty good. Leather seats were still attached with no rips or stain at all, and all the electronic equipment was minimally scratched, and the miles were low considering it was driven for four years befor... Story
Was pretty uncomfortable using the vehicle in the first place, since everything was different from my past vehicle. Honestly, I didn't know how to start the car and turn on the A/C when I first obtained it.
Pros
Engine is definitely one of the top things on its pro list. Very powerful even with high hills and bumpy surfaces. Mileage was good standing at only about 58,000 for four years, so it wasn’t an overdriven vehicle. Seats were very comfortable with added features like warming up or cooling down covering with black leather giving it an aesthetic feel. Safety features were all in perfect condition even more than my past car. Sensitive side mirror, back-up cameras, and warning when backing up were very helpful while driving this car. Bluetooth connection, maps, apps, and internet service all a... (more)
Cons
The sound of the engine is a little loud for my taste in this vehicle. Maybe it’s just me not getting used to driving a SUV before but definitely not one of its strong point. There are too many features in the car. It’s a weird thing to complain about, but when there are too much additions to the car that it’s so hard to find the basic function, then there’s definitely some improvement needing to be done. Half of the add-ons I don’t even use 90% of the time. Since the car’s color is white, it can be a little bit pricey to clean it during rain season or when driving through a dirty area. Le... (more)

The Toyota Rav4 functions with as well as it looks. The roof rack caps the sporty look and carries whatever sporting equipment necessary for your entertainment needs. The interior is well trimmed, durable and sports an expensive look, pleasing to the eye. The sound and electronics are top drawer and easily heard coupled with performance software displayed on the interior screen that doubles with the back up camera, a feature necessary in every circumstance because of the vehicle size and width. The rear compartment can carry an electric GoGo for my wife, however we mounted a Uhaul hitch easily under the rear tire well so we could mount an electric lift for the mobility equipment we need. Spacious leg room both in front and back with bucket seats makes the ride comfortable for everyone.... (more)
Story
Being able to adapt a hitch to carry additional equipment and keep it in line with Toyota specifications was a major plus to using this vehicle.
Pros
The primary feature is the height of vehicle making it easy to see around other vehicles. The smooth ride with the large wheels a big asset and make wet rides a pleasure.
Cons
The smaller 4 cylinder engine does not keep up with the weight and size of the vehicle and should be used with a 6 cylinder. But for the price to enjoy the comfort the vehicle is still well worth the value.
