Reliable, well built
I love my Toyota Sequoia. I love how it sits higher off of the ground than many other vehicles. This usually allows me to see two cars in front of me when driving down the road. It is also great for when the roads flood just a little, I can cross the water without a problem when a car would not be able to. It is very reliable as long as you keep up the maintenance on it. I do regular oil and filter changes and also replaced the timing belt and some other belt when the maintenance record called for it. I love the room inside the vehicle. I don't have to borrow trucks to move most of the bigger objects I am hauling around. Currently, I have over 160,000 miles on the vehicle, and she still runs as if she is brand new. The only one problem I have is the weight of the vehicle with regards to tires. Because she is heavier, tires are expensive, and they wear out on the edges rather fast. When I have asked about this problem, I get the same answer everywhere. The vehicle weighs a lot and puts a strain on the tires. The tires that came on the vehicle wore out in no time. When replaced, the tire shop recommended a more expensive tire that had bigger treads on them and this helps.

Great family vehicle!
The Sequoia is a great vehicle. My family uses it to tow our travel trailer and we've crossed the Northwest several times. It has more than enough power to haul our trailers and it's always a comfortable ride! We even hit a deer in a rural area and had very minimal damage to the vehicle - it kept us safe and sound!
