The Honda CR-V is a good car for all people. It is just the right size for taller or shorter people. The miles per gallon is solid, and I have driven long distances with no problems. The car is spacious and has lots of room for guests and cargo. The trunk is large enough to store all of my soccer gear as I am a soccer coach and have lots of gear. I have had it for 15 years and it has performed masterfully.
Story
I made an 8 hour journey once expecting the car to break down because of past experiences. However, not only did the car make it in one piece, but I only had to fill up the gas tank once!
Pros
For an SUV, I think it is durable and spacious. It can carry a lot of weight and last long distances. It also looks nice as it is an SUV and since it was my first car, looked very impressive to all my friends.
Cons
The side door lock broke a couple years ago and it kept making a buzzing noise. I kept having to fix it, but eventually just took the auto lock off of the car door. Another problem is the brakes need oiling every now and then, but I believe this to be more of a maintenance issue than an issue with the car.

At first I was skeptical when I purchased this car. I had never owned anything but Fords. My family always purchased Fords and were known at the Ford dealership. However, when my main car (a Ford Taurus) went out, my family needed car as soon as possible to maintain our jobs, take the kids to school and do everyday errands. This was the fastest, cheapest car that we could afford at that time. This car has never let me down. In snow, in ice, and in mud it drives well and hasn't gotten stuck or slid off the road. The engine and components are not only easy to work on but also cheap to buy. I have replaced brakes, pads, cylinders, lines, and the radiator muffler system due to wear and tear over the years. And, on top of that, I always do my own oil changes, and this car has lasted throug... (more)
Story
We have always taken this car to the country every year to do the corn mazes in the fall. They are off the beaten trail but always fun. The gas isn't expensive in my car, versus my wife's SUV, and this can handle most terrain.
Pros
I love the interior. Everything is made to be cleaned. The center console folds down, and the cup holders disappear into the dash for streamline effect. The seat is extremely adjustable for an older car. Mine has a leather interior, so it's ok to clean if anything spills. In the original plans, they had a table that was made into the back that we could use. Can you believe it, they also provide you furniture. If only I knew about this car when I was a bachelor! The seats fold down fairly easily, and the back hatch opens (both glass and door) for moving things. Surprisingly, I have had to s... (more)
Cons
Well, I would have to say that even though it gives a lot of options and is extremely versatile, it is a bit cozy for my liking. I have a growing family. A wife and two children. One of which is twelve and the other three years old so still in a car seat. Now this car has anchors in the roof for the seat for safety, which I love. However, I am six foot three and two hundred and fifty pounds. So when I drive, I do have to push the seat to the extreme limit for comfort. My wife, on the other hand, is five foot five and a hundred and twenty pounds so, for her, the car fits like a glove. So i... (more)
