Keeps on Running
I purchased my Honda CR-V new in 2003. It has been a pretty reliable vehicle. It had been our main family vehicle, but now that it has 185,000 miles on it we use it mainly to drive around town. The vehicle is all wheel drive which comes in handy for wet roads or light snow. I would describe it as a small SUV but it can seat up to 5 people and has quite a bit of room behind the rear seat for storage. For the most part, I have just had to do regular routine maintenance on the vehicle.

Happy
This CRV is the 7th vehicle I have driven in my 30 years of driving. I've driven sports cars, sedans, two seaters, and trucks. This vehicle is without a doubt the best vehicle I have ever driven. It is solid, well built, handles well at highway speeds, as well as easy, smooth driving around town. The general substance of the CRV is outstanding, rock solid. And I've been driving it now for 11 years. After 11 years, on every single other car I have driven, the steering wheel surface has deteriorated...Not so with this car. The CRV's steering wheel is like new...Crisp and clean. Though I do take car of my vehicles, the CRV seems to require less care than other cars I've owned. The usual distress marks of older cars (i.e. dash cracks, seat seam tears, interior top sag, none of that is happening with this CRV. All is well with this car at 230,000 miles and going strong. The A/C compressor went out a few years ago, but that is to be expected for A/C systems of that age. All-in-all, the CRV gets an A+ rating from my point of view. It's a well designed and well built car.
