I LOVE my Honda Odyssey minivan! It is the BEST van that I have ever owned! I had a minivan prior to this one, and I felt like I was driving a bus! This Honda, on the other hand, is very easy to drive. It drives very smoothly and I love how nicely I fit inside of it. It is very easy to drive which is important since I am short! I love its design and the ability to be able to open both doors on both sides of the van. I love how much space it has both inside and in the trunk. It is a great vehicle to own! Another feature that I like about it is the little spaces that it has to hold things underneath the passenger seat and in the back of the van. Something that this van has that has never been a feature of any vehicle I have owned before is the back window windshield wiper. It ... (more)
Story
My children love to look at cows and other animals that they see as we are driving along the road and tell me all about them.
Pros
The top positive things about this van are... everything! I love the windshield wiper on the back. I love the large space in the back of the van. I love how roomy it is inside. I love how easy it is to drive. I love how it fits my short stature well. I love that I can reach the pedals and see over the steering wheel quite comfortably. I love that it has two passenger doors that open with the click of a button. I love how it has child lock on those doors so children cannot open the doors while we are driving down the road. I love the efficiency and effectiveness of the heating and ... (more)
Cons
The only thing that I don't like about this vehicle is the security system. For some reason, the alarm went off and we had no way of turning it off manually. That being the case, my husband turned it off somehow which resulted in the radio no longer being operable due to it thinking that there was a security breach. This van was purchased used, so I have no idea how to reset it so that we can get the radio restored again.

I was so excited to be able to finally get a Honda Odyssey mini van. When I test drove the used car at the dealership, it felt great, worked great, and I was thrilled to drive it home. That's the happiest I've been with the car since we took ownership. Within three months, the electrical system began to short out. The third time I was stranded with a dead battery due to the interior lights coming on without my knowledge, I made an appointment with the dealership to fix the issue. They ended up cutting the cord to all interior lights because they could not find where the short was located. Every summer, once the temperature rose above 80 degrees, the passenger side sliding door would decide not to close all the way. This also happened whenever the temperature dropped below 30 degrees. Story
We took our first trip to Disney World in that car. We crammed three kids and three adults plus luggage into the van and still had leg room.
Pros
I really liked the trunk space and how easy it was to fold the rear seat flat into the trunk area.
Cons
Electrical system malfunctions and two new transmissions.
