Minivans are not just for families! This Honda Odyssey feels more like a sports car than mom-mobile. The streamlined design allows for more height clearance while not sacrificing comfort or cargo room. The entertainment system is well appointed and reaches everywhere. It can go from cargo mode to full passengers in less than 15min. This is a very versatile vehicle and highly recommended.
Story
This van is wonderful for across state road trips. We go over the river and through the woods- and over the mountains, and through the fields, and across lakes- to get to grandmother's house, and the Odyssey does wonderfully- rain, hail, sleet, snow, or shine.
Pros
The Honda Odyssey is versatile and very easily converted from passenger mode to cargo mode. Even with only the back seats folded down, there is more than enough room for a full week's worth of gear for the Renn. Faire!
Cons
It is still a minivan, and as such, gets less than stellar gas mileage. The system recommended maintenance will also get quite expensive, requiring oil changes frequently and maintenance checks that can be done only at the dealers.

I was undecided between the Honda Odyssey and the Toyota Sienna. I decided on the Honda Odyssey mostly because I was able to get more for my money. The back-up camera uses a large screen in the center of the dash which I love. It's much larger than the Toyota's back-up camera screen. I do not have navigation in my car which I really wish I did have, however I was told it's all set up if I ever want to add it. The captain's chairs in the back lean back very far and are extremely comfortable. There is lots of leg for all of the rows of seats. My boyfriend is 6'4" and says he has more room in it than any other car he's been in. I have heated seats which is a huge plus for me. I love that they turn off when I turn the car off, and the button has to be pushed for them to turn back on. I had... (more)
Story
The first time my boys got in the car and they realized their windows went down...they said it was the most awesome car ever!
Pros
I love that I can set my main screen to show my average miles per gallon and how many miles till I will need to get gas. It helps me plan my trips better and helps me to figure out ways to save. I love that the TV in the back has multiple settings. It makes it easy to adjust so everyone can see and there is no arguing. I like that I can adjust the sound settings, so if the kids are watching, I don't have to hear it. That way I can talk or have some quiet in the front but they can hear it perfectly in the back. When I adjust the sound to the back, I can barely hear it even if it is turned u... (more)
Cons
I wish my Odyssey had navigation. I was told that it is all set up to have it, but it needs the computer box added. I am able to have my directions play through the speakers, however I still find myself constantly looking at my phone to see the map. One thing I loved in the Sienna that my Odyssey does not have is the captains seats were adjustable. It has tracks so you could move the seats up and back which was amazing when you have a seat kicker sitting behind you. In the Siennas I looked at, the tracks were really worn from over use though. I wish the cup holders on the back side of the ... (more)
