We purchased this vehicle when we had our third child. It had great ratings for reliability and over all comfort. We have been over the moon happy with it. I am able to comfortably fit 3 large car seats and have fit 5 at a time all in the back. The gas mileage is pretty good compared to other vehicles in its class and eco feature is a nice feature. The ride is extremely smooth and quiet. We have used the dvd player and built in TV daily for the past 3 years and have had no problems. The dual sliding doors and trunk that open with a button on the remote is super convenient. When I am juggling squirmy kids and groceries, it is a life saver to open them all with just clicking buttons. I love this van and would recommend it to anyone. A neat thing about this van is the back trunk will easi... (more)
Story
All the children feel asleep at once for the first time when we had a colicky newborn. My husband and I drove around town for an extra 2 hours just down side streets until they woke up. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the ride was obviously comfortable for them to sleep!
Pros
My favorite features are the dual opening doors and opening trunk. I also love the spaciousness of the vehicle. All our guests and 5 car seats have been able to fit comfortably.
Cons
There isn't much I have to complain about. One thing is the dual doors will not open if you are not in park. We have tried to pick up children in the car ride lane and they wouldn't open with just our foot on the brake. It isn't a big deal, but since I need a complaint.

We absolutely love our Honda Odyssey. It is by far the best car we have owned, and after seeing and riding in many other minivans, we would still purchase the Odyssey. Our main reason for purchasing the vehicle was to transport multiple children, and to be able to transport large items/furniture when needed. It has passed our expectations in both of these areas. In addition to the eight seats, we love the ability for the rear seats to fold down for storage and the sliding side doors. We feel safe when driving our Odyssey, and it has performed well for us for the past three years, with no major issues or repairs needed. It drives well on both highways and back roads, and we always feel safe when driving it. The steering and braking are easy and effortless, and we are able to maneuver ea... (more)
Story
One of our favorite memories using our Odyssey is being able to transport our extended family with us when going to an event. We were able to transport my parents and a cousin along with the three of us to a Christmas Lights show, six people total, all fitting in the van and listening to Christmas music while enjoying the sights together, without having to take separate vehicles.
Pros
The biggest pro for this vehicle that we have found is that we were able to effectively transport three children in rear-facing car seats at once. This is something that is impossible to do in most small cars and SUVs, and even in many SUVs with a third row, because you need space both width-wise and front to back to be able to effectively and safely fit the car seats in. The vehicle went above and beyond in this area for us. We appreciated the large number of LATCH connections, as well as the tether anchors for forward facing car seats as well. We also really enjoy the power sliding doors... (more)
Cons
The only real negative thing we have found with our particular vehicle is that the volume control on the stereo system has failed, and the only way to control the volume of the system now (without purchasing an entire new system) is by the controls on the steering wheel.
