My 2005 Honda Odyssey has been going strong for 10 years! Mechanical breakdowns have been nonexistent (except for a dead battery). The interior has held up well under the wear and tear of car seats and two children growing up to teen-agers. The safety features of stability assist, front and side airbags makes me feel confident for the safety of passengers as well as for a teenaged driver. Fold-down rear seats and removable middle seats mean there is plenty of room for cargo. I love the storage carousel in the middle seat floor area for storage of items not immediately needed, and a little drawer under the front passenger seat is a nicely concealed space for storage. Seating for up to 8 passengers makes it a great vehicle to take on vacation to see family, and there are plenty of seatin... (more)
Story
We used this vehicle to take a 6000 mile trip to Yellowstone National Park. It was comfortable, safe, and mechanically sound for this exciting trip.
Pros
Visibility, safety, comfortable ride. I really like the window shades for the middle row, and plenty of cup holders and storage cubbies. Dual sliding doors make life easier.
Cons
I wish the color choices had been more extensive.

I love driving my Honda Odyssey. It is a very smooth ride, you hardly ever feel the bumps even on the worst roads. I bought this van because we have kids. Putting car seats in and out of the van is as easy as moving car seats can be. I don't like that there's only one latch system on the rear seat though, and there's not a good place to connect the rear strap without blocking the luggage area. There is plenty of foot and head room in this vehicle even for the tallest of people. My van is equipped with a removable middle seat in the middle row which turns it from a normal 7 passenger van to an 8 passenger van. The windows are nicely tinted and dark. The windows in the sliding doors both roll down which is wonderful for hot summer days. Also in those windows there is built in window shad... (more)
Story
There have been many occasions where I've loaded up my two kids, and my nephews and niece to make a trip to the zoo. Not only is there enough room for all five kids to sit, but they aren't crowded either.
Pros
My top positive things about this vehicle are the removable middle seat and the fact that the windows can be rolled down.
Cons
Repairing anything mechanical on this vehicle will be costly.
