I originally purchased the Odyssey because I kept bumping my infant son's head on the door frame of my car when I took his infant seat in and out. I swore that I would never become a "mini van mom" and now 11 years later I am confident that I will purchase another Odyssey when the time comes to replace my van. Right from the start I loved all of the space that my van offered, I loved that I could move on of the middle row bucket seats over and have my son in the middle of the row. I loved and still do love that now that I have three children I can bring their friends on trips with us and we all have enough room. In the 11 years that I have owned the van I have never had to deal with any major issues. My children are hard on the interior of the van, we have had toys, spills, cars seats,... (more)
Story
One of the more memorable things about my van is our DVD player, my son would cry and cry when he got tired, so we would be running errands around town and instead of sleeping like most toddlers that are in the car do, mine screamed and cried. The DVD player saved out sanity when he was a toddler.
Pros
One of my favorite things about my van is how well it has held up over the years. The van is still fun to drive and it looks nice on the outside, the inside looks like a van that has been loved by children, especially ones that spill a lot of food. I also feel like my family is safe while riding in the van and that is do to the air bags, anti-lock breaks, and good handling.
Cons
Did I mention how much I love my van? I truly don't have much in the way of negative things to say. My only complaint is the darn front panel that is pooped out, it is just a little annoying to me.

My overall experience has been good. I like the dual air condition/heat unit for the comfort of each passenger in the front seats. The back seats have their own control as well. I've not experienced any issues with key electronic components of the van. There is plenty leg space for the back seat passengers even with the front seats all the way back. I have had great reliability and comfort in the vehicle. There were a couple of issues with the vehicle. When we had to get new tires, we found out that they no longer made the Pax tires and had to change out the rims and tires. This was not a cheap fix. The next issue was when we needed to have the windshield replaced. They could not get a good seal on it. The third issue was with the Pax tires on it only the dealership sup... (more)
Story
Once we found a great shop to take the car to, we have kept up with the maintenance of the car and have had no problems. I just took it in and had it looked over for any leaks or repairs and was told that it was all good.
Pros
We were impressed with the amount of space the car had. Also that you can remove the back seats to make more space in the back area. We liked the dual heat and air condition unit. It has a six-CD holder which is really nice for long trips. We liked the fact that the DVD player was able to be played without everyone in the car having to hear it. The automatic seat adjustment for the driver seat was very impressive since we had never had that before.
Cons
The tires that came with the car were no longer available and the cost to switch them out as well as Honda making no compensation for this when they are the ones that quiet making them.
