I like that the vehicle is reliable and has a nice look to it. Despite it being almost ten years old now it still looks very modern and has a nice interior. The sound system is great. It has held up well with the amount of mileage it has so far. I drove it across the entire country and it did great. It is not a super fast car but it is very practical which I like.
Story
I went on a cross country road trip with my mother and sister on my way to school.
Pros
It seems very reliable. The interior is nice looking and comfortable. It is spacious and holds everything I need it to. The gas mileage is decent, although of course it is not the most fuel efficient vehicle. It is perfect for my needs of driving it to work and getting around town for errands.
Cons
It does not get as much gas mileage as I would like. The gas gauge seems to not be functioning properly as it doesn't say I have a full tank right after I fill it up. It does not seem to handle well on the ice. Additionally, the auto start that it came with seems to be draining the battery. This doesn't necessarily seem to be an issue with the vehicle itself, rather with the auto start system that was installed. I also do not like that the visors do not have mirrors on them, although this is a minor detail.

The Nissan Rogue offers top of its class performance considering what is packed inside. For a crossover SUV, it achieves impressive gas mileage while maintaining a sporty and fun feel. My particular model offers optional AWD and Paddle Shifters if I'm feeling like being a little more sporty. The main reason we purchased this SUV was to be a family vehicle for my pregnant wife. It offers everything we need. The leather seats are superb, as is the interior space. The technology is pretty good for a 2008 model. Six Disc CD Changer, AUX capability, and hands free phone calls. This was certainly an excellent purchase and given the chance to do so again, I absolutely would!
Story
Racing people off the line at stoplights has got to be one of the most fun experiences in this car. (Even if the other person doesn't know). No one suspects an SUV to be fast, but put AWD on and enable the manual transmission and it gives others a good run.
Pros
My favorite features include the sporty exterior, luxurious interior, and AWD capabilities. AWD is very powerful and more than capable for standard needs and uses. Certainly would not recommend off-roading, but that's not what this SUV is meant for.
Cons
My only con to the Nissan Rogue is its visibility from inside the vehicle. Blind spots are terrible (expected with a crossover), but this seems far worse than other crossovers I've driven.
