I am very pleased with this vehicle, and feel very safe with my family driving it.
My 2017.5 (not listed as an option above) Nissan Rogue is a fully equipped mid sized SUV that is fully loaded, and handles very well. I like all the safety features the car is equipped with. Lane departure, blind spot indicator, and cameras on all sides of the car make me feel more safe when driving this car, as well as allowing my teen children to drive my car. Navigation is a necessity in my vehicle, as we are always on the go, often to unknown addresses, and the navigation gets us there safely and accurately. I like knowing my children have step by step directions how to get to where they are going without the use of their iPhone being out and operated. I also like the sporty look of my vehicle, the decent gas mileage it renders, and love how the car handles like a tank in the snow. I also love the kick to open trunk, which is so helpful when my arms are full from shopping. I do wish my monthly payments were lower than they are, but I know I am paying for the extra safety features which I feel are essential and beneficial for my family's use. I just wish it didn't cost so much. But I guess you can't put a price on safety. Another con would be the size of the trunk, which I wish was larger/a little longer. I wish I did purchase a trunk shade too, but still have not, as I like to know my trunk items are not on display for someone to steal.

Great crossover for a small family.
I looked at a couple different crossovers because I liked the look of the Nissan Murano and Rogue, the Ford Edge, and the Honda CR-V. I was primarily interested in getting some extra space, having always had a 2 or 4 door car prior to this purchase. I also wanted more height to my car - I really like trucks and that feels like a more comfortable ride for me. I went ahead with the Rogue because the drive felt great and I had a good experience at the dealership. I'd recommend this car for anyone up to a small family. While it definitely gives you more room than a sedan, it's not enough space if you have several children or you're planning on carpooling with more than four adults. I do like the amount of space in the back; it's the perfect size for a decent grocery trip. My main drawback has been the fabric for the flooring. It's very hard to vacuum well and it has that rough felt texture that grabs absolutely everything. It was definitely worthwhile to invest in a good seat cover because I can just imagine how hard it would be to get my dog's fur out of the flooring.
