I've owned my Nissan Rogue for 7 years and never had any trouble with it. I have transported up to 3 medium-sized dogs and all their gear to dog shows many times and always had plenty of room, all without seeming like a huge SUV. The sound system is really good and came with built-in Sirius XM radio. It gets about 25 miles per gallon which is great. My dogs compete in field trials and things can get pretty muddy and messy in the car. I have had no problem cleaning it up and it still looks great. The only complaint I have is with the design of the back windows. It's hard to see out the back when you are changing lanes into the right lane. If the windows were bigger, this problem could be solved. But if you follow the basic guidelines of car care, this car will last a long time. I take f... (more)
Story
I have a great memory of going to a lure coursing trial with my border collie in my Nissan Rogue. I had her in the back seat, and she was so excited she was barking in my ear! It was fun to see her so excited. She got really dirty and muddy during the trial and kept jumping up in the car and walking all over the interior, trying to see if she could find a way out to go chase the lure some more... (more)
Pros
There are many positive things about the Nissan Rogue. The styling is very sleek and I've had any complements on it. It comes with Sirius XM Radio which was very important to me. The seats are comfortable and it has plenty of leg room. It's very comfortable to take long road trips and has plenty of room for cargo. I travel often with dogs and the interior cleans very easily. I have never had any mechanical problems with the car. I get my scheduled tune ups to make sure anything is caught, but nothing has been found.
Cons
There only a couple of negatives I can think of. The back windows are small which makes it hard to change lanes if you are changing to the right hand lane. The side windows in the cargo area needs to be enlarged. Another minor thing is when you adjust the back seat to lay down, it's not level and everything is tilted up which makes it harder to carry certain things (dog crates).

The Nissan Rogue is the best car I have owned so far. It has great gas mileage, but still has the get up and go power that some cars lack. It is roomy on the inside with tall roofs. I am a big and tall gal with big and tall friends and we all fit comfortably inside. I love the hatch back trunk and the ability for the back seats to fold down. It makes shopping and the occasional move easier. I think my next car will also be a Nissan Rogue, maybe another color.
Story
It wasn't exactly in my current location, it was the move to my current location. I moved back home, about a 1200 mile trip. It took two days with my dog and cat inside the car with me. The was plenty of room for both animals in the back and my stuff in the hatch back. The car got great gas mileage and drove nicely on the open road. My cat slept most of the way, but my dog enjoyed looking out ... (more)
Pros
I love the hatch back trunk. The air/heat blows great and doesn't take long to get cold/hot. I like that it is a four door car. The sound system is decent. It shows miles driven/how many miles you can drive on remaining gas. It also has a warning light and noise once you get low on gas and are able to drive only fifty more miles before you run out of gas. I like that the windows and side mirrors are powered. My first car had manual.
Cons
The cup holders are at it awkward if you have something tall in them since the shift stick is on the floor. However, I hate the shift stick being on the steering wheel so I make due with the cup holders. There are no air vents in the back.
