I own a 2001 pre-used Toyota mini van. It has all the basic conveniences such as power windows, door locks, and mirrors. It is very good on gas. It is a very comfortable car to drive. It is nice and quiet. It is very practical seeing as it has a lot of interior space and I can fit many items in it. I have owned the car for 7 years and have had no major mechanical problems with it. I have only had it in the shop for routine maintenance and to have the tires replaced. I like that this is a decent sized vehicle as I do not like small cars. I feel very safe in my Toyota. Toyota also has a good track record regarding its vehicles. Even though my Toyota is 14 years old, I would not think of getting rid of it. It has proven to be reliable and I would not want to trade it in for a vehicle that... (more)
Pros
Dependable, reliable, fuel efficient for a larger older vehicle, comfortable, practical.
Cons
I don't really have any negative thoughts about this vehicle.

My 2001 Toyota Sienna was given to me when I was able to drive. It was my mom's old car and it already had 100k miles on it. She was the original owner of the car and it was in pretty good condition. It was extremely reliable but it did have a few minor flaws.
Story
While I was in college one night we decided to go out to eat and loaded the car up with 7 people and had a great drive to the restaurant. We opened the sun roof and blasted music all the way to the restaurant.
Pros
One of the best things about this car is how reliable it is. I have never gotten into this car and hoped that it would start. I have been driving it for the past 6 years and have only had to change oil and tires. If you want a car that will last this is the car for you.
Cons
The only real con that this car has is that it can eat through tires. I have frequently rotated my tires but every 4-5 years the car does not pass inspection because the tires are worn out. It is always on the inside of the tire. It might just be my car but I have read online this is a common issue.
