Toyota is not the quality it used to be.
I was able to order my van from the factory through the dealership. I thought that portion was great and it was manufactured to my specifications with color, material, and accessories. I ordered the Aspen Green Pearl 2004 XLE LTD Toyota Sienna with tan leather seats, moon roof, and completed DVD system. I only ordered a Toyota because at the time of purchase it was rated #1 on Consumer reports for safety. The van was equipped with side cushion airbags, traction control etc. It also has rear fold down seats which was a great feature at the time. It served its purpose of transporting a military family around the country every 2 years. Space is important when moving. I was initially very pleased with the purchase. Within months I began having problems. It was sign of things to come. At 175,000 miles I could have purchased another Toyota Sienna with the total cost I have spent to repair the vehicle not to mention I paid for a 100,000 mile 10 year platinum warranty.
