The Toyota Sienna has been a fantastic car for us. There is room in the car for seven people in total. Each seat has plenty of floor space and elbow room. This particular model has only one door that is automatic. Having four children and countless friends in and out of the van, this door has been an issue. Children exiting the car never know if they have to close the door themselves or if the door will automatically close. This has been one of the few problems, so far. Other than the door issue, the car looks great, gets great gas mileage, and has held up well with four teenagers and handles very well. The car we chose is gray with gray cloth interior so it is easy to clean (but most of the dirt can't be seen with the gray color). The heat and air conditioning are both fantastic and q... (more)
Story
We went white water rafting as a family and piled all four kids in, along with tons of supplies and food and had a great time, using the van as our home base to change after!
Pros
The one automatic door. The interior color gray. Great heater and A/C. Comfortable cloth seats Plenty of foot room and elbow room
Cons
The lack of a second automatic door.

This is my second Toyota Sienna. The quality of these vehicles is great and I have had no issues other than standard wear and tear over the past 8 years. Handling much like a car, I like having the higher profile for increased site lines. This is great especially when driving in snowy conditions. The seats have survived many boys' sporting teams and clean up nicely (even though they are a lightish grey).
Story
We had planned our first camping trip for weeks and couldn't wait to get away. The first night around 2am the rains came-our tent was in the line of a pretty significant run-off. Having this van was a life saver that night as we could all fit inside and still get some sleep while the rain fell. After 6 years my son still says-remember the night the van saved us!
Pros
The 3rd row seats are extremely easy to fold down and the option to split the fold down seats is a plus. I love that the 4 door windows can open and that the rear windows can be vented. As a shorter person having an adjustable seat that goes up and down is a plus as well as the adjustable steering wheel.
Cons
Opening and closing the automatic door sometimes confused people as they try and slide it versus letting the door close itself. There have been four recalls on the vehicle, however my local dealer address them all at no cost! The spare tire is located underneath the vehicle which would make having to remove it a very cumbersome process. I get about 18-20 MPG I wish it was a little more cost effective.
