I got this vehicle used. As a result I was able to afford it. I would never be able to afford this vehicle new. I acquired it for the cargo and passenger space, and because of the AWD. We live in a rural area and the roads are often snowy or icy in the winter. The AWD is a must for us, for convenience as well as safety. So far I have no complaints. I love the cargo space the vehicle has. Even with all seats in place, there is tons of storage space. The passengers are as comfortable as the driver, because there is so much room inside. My two kids don't get anywhere near each other, so it's more relaxing for me on longer trips. We can throw the kids' bikes in the back, behind the seats, and still have room for other items. I find the seats very easy to recline and flatten. With all of th... (more)
Story
I can now threaten to separate my kids by putting them in different rows of seats. Although they are constantly fighting they don't want to be separated either.
Pros
The extra space it provides and the comfort of the vehicle are the major advantages.
Cons
It's mileage is low because it's such a big and heavy vehicle. As a result I have been spending a lot more money on gas.

I love my Toyota Siena minivan. At first, I was skeptical to start driving a minivan without having any kids of my own, but it has proven to be a great vehicle over the two years I have been driving it. It had been owned previously by an older couple who took very good care of the engine and exterior. Unfortunately, they often let their small dog, with an overactive bladder, ride in it. Occasionally, even years later, I still have to spray air freshener to cover a faint odor. Maybe the interior could be made of material that is less odor absorbing? I have no complaints about the engine and get up and go of the vehicle. I have driven it in many various terrains -- mountains, snow, mud -- and it has handled it all very nicely. The back row of seats stow completely, which is so handy. I c... (more)
Story
One time I helped transport mannequins while working for my local museum! It was a very strange experience to have fake "bodies" in the back of my van.
Pros
Strong engine. Plenty of room inside. Great color for hiding dust. Sits high off the road. Will last many more years and many more miles.
Cons
It is a bit rattily after ten years. The interior lights no longer work properly.
