I like that this car is tiny; I can park pretty much anywhere (legally) that I want to without having to worry about fitting in spaces. And despite its compact exterior, the interior has compromised on nothing in terms of passenger space. It actually has a better passenger accommodation across the back than my 2016 Civic did.
Story
The first day I got it, I took the kids out for a ride and when we went down the first hill they both yelled "yahoo!"
Pros
It's old, but it's still very responsive and peppy. I really like the sunroof, and the hatchback is much more convenient than a regular sedan trunk. The rear seats also fold down in a unique way that is simpler than other vehicles and also leaves for more space in the back when they are folded down. The hood open mechanism is awesome- you pull the lever inside the car and the hood releases- you lift it a little with your hand and a lever pops out that you pull to fully release. This is so much easier than hunting around blindly under the hood looking for the release lever. This vehicle is ... (more)
Cons
The center console is extremely annoying. It's high but has a small capacity and is really more of a hindrance than it is convenient for storage. The rotors are cast really thin for these cars and don't last all that long. This is irritating considering it's not a cheap replacement. I don't like that the gas tank is on the passenger side; this is different from every other vehicle I have driven. Also, the gas tank release button is on the inside driver door. I forget to release it almost every time I go to fill up and have to run back and forth between the button and the pump. The configur... (more)

I like the car because visually it holds up and looks good compared to newer cars. The style of it makes it feel classic without being old. The car has over 200,000 miles and runs well considering the age. There are no interior rattles or unusual sounds. Takes a long time to warm up in the winter. It will not move until the engine is warm.
Story
The most fun I had with the car was being able to drive out of my neighborhood to get the food I was craving late in the evening. It was freeing being able to do so.
Pros
My favorite feature is the sun roof. I love that the speakers work and have a good amount of bass. Comfortable interior and seats. Seatbelts are in working order. The dashboard and inner panel are not flashy. Everything is simple, cleaned line and easy to use/understand. Great gas mileage. A full tank cost about $30. The heat works beautifully. The trunk is huge. It can hold over ten full grocery bags, two medium boxes, and a store bag holding car supplies.
Cons
The negative to this vehicle is that the A/C does not work. Since it is older, the old converter needed to be replaced. The connection to the gas cap on the driver side needs to be re-inserted into the door. The back seats are missing the head rest. The interior fabric is coming away from the frame inside the car. The transmission needs to be replaced. The back seat is not as roomy as newer models. Door lock needs to be replaced. Brakes needed to be replaced. Fan belt needed to be changed. Maintenance was not on the car for years.
