I like the Golf TSI because it not only looks good, it is a comfortable car to drive and convenient for what I use it for. I like the mileage of the car and the fact that it costs $30 to fill up the tank. One full tank typically lasts me a full seven days, and this includes a daily commute to work and back. For the basic model, the interior of the car is nice. It has a clean look and the controls for volume, air conditioning, etc are very easy to navigate. I like that this model offers apple car play as well as a sunroof. However, I do not like that the blue color can easily show stains from sprinkler water and rain. In terms of payment, my vehicle is fairly priced and it helps that I purchased it through a lease. I can enjoy this car knowing that it is a quality car, built to last and... (more)
Story
None of my friends had known that I purchased this car. When I drove to meet some of my friends at a movie theatre, they saw me park my car in the parking lot. They were astonished and complimented me on the color and look of the car. They were impressed by some of the features, like the apple car play.
Pros
The best thing about the Volkswagen Golf is the inclusion of apple car play. It is a new feature that allows me to see texts, receive calls and use a navigation system through my iPhone. I simply connect my phone to my charging cable and put the USB end of the chord into a port in the car. Instantly some of my applications are projected onto the screen of the car. It makes it great for handsfree calls and messages. I also have access to play all of my favorite music. This feature makes me a safer driver since there is no urge to pull out my phone to text or call. The drive also becomes mor... (more)
Cons
The biggest con for me is the fact that my car gets visible stains in the blue color. It also gets dirty very easily inside the car. I always have to worry about parking in my driveway because the sprinklers stain my car. Especially with this blue color, it is quite noticeable. As an avid surfer, I love taking my surfboard every time I am driving near the coast. While the car is great for storing multiple surf boards at once, the sand in the black interior is very noticeable. Worst of all it is almost impossible to vacuum out of the seats.

The Golf is one of my favorite cars. With a stout structure, the ride always feels solid and controlled. Its supple chassis and responsive steering make it a true pleasure to drive. A 170-hp 1.8-liter turbo four pairs with a standard five-speed manual; a six-speed automatic is optional.
Story
The Volkswagen’s seats continue to earn praise, especially during two separate long-haul trips to Virginia from Michigan.
Pros
The Volkswagen’s seats continue to earn praise, especially during two separate long-haul trips to Virginia from Michigan. Supportive and not restricting, the Golf’s chairs keep butt numbness at bay and even do a decent job of holding the front occupants in place during spirited driving. In fact, the interior as a whole impresses daily, with nice materials and an understated, mature layout and design.
Cons
Some ire has been thrown at the Golf’s infotainment system, which has committed sins ranging from taking too long to wake up after thumbing the ignition to the occasional oddball navigation routing.
