My vehicle is a 2 door arctic white GTI. The average gas mileage is 35 on the highway and 25 on the streets. My GTI is a manual 6 speed. The manual makes it not only fun to drive but super zippy as well. My car is small and has excellent maneuvering abilities. It can "turn on a dime" as they say. It looks small from the out size but there is plenty of leg room. The starting price for a standard model is affordable. The market value for a used car holds pretty well. Even with the whole "VW lied about their emissions" thing. My cars name is Cerberus and I love her.
Story
My husband thinks my car is "gay". We took it on a road trip for a 6 hour drive to another city. I couldn't drive any more because I was exhausted. He reluctantly agreed to drive. He refuses to give it up after that. We were on back roads with 75mph speed limits and winding roads. He was so impressed and excited over the handling and the acceleration that he drove the return trip as well.
Pros
My GTI is fuel efficient as well as fun to drive. It has a host of standard features. These standard features not only make driving more enjoyable but they also make it look snazzy. These features include premium rims, heated leather seats, lighting that adjusts, adjustable steering wheels and a kick booty sound system. As a mother and someone who works in EMS I'm also very happy with the crash test rating. The car features front and side curtain air bags. It also have build in anchors for car seats.
Cons
The negatives are the blood sucking vampire jackasses I bought my car from. They lied. I caught them in a lie. They had to fix something then acted like it was never a problem after fixing it. Maybe it's where I live but VW is full of vampire sales people. I really do not have any other Cons Well except maybe it cant tow a trailer but that's kind of obvious? Push to start would be cool too but that's just a lazy thing.

This car is durable and dependable, I have not had any issues with it since buying it just regular maintenance. Right now it has 98'000 miles and still no issues. Interior looks nice, but the fabric seats have not held up as well. Fuel economy is average for this car.
Story
Nothing fun to tell, this car is my daily commuter and has done its job well. Never once failed me so far.
Pros
Upkeep is cheap, no big issues so far. Has quite a bit of power for a small car/engine.
Cons
The interior is not holding up too well. Scruffs and scratches on plastic parts, fabric seats are thinning out, one ripped seam.
